Notice the Ribbed roof on this wagon; how can this be a 1948 wagon? The ribbed roof didn’t appear on the wagon until the late 1950’s. I suspect this is a later model with a 1948 title.
Yep, could be a conglomeration of parts. Good point on the ribbed roof, as I always forget about that difference.
A good looking Jeep, but it has to be a FrankenJeep. Shorter ribbed roof, inside door handles instead of push buttons, squared off rear wheel openings instead of the rounded openings, late model rear license plate holder and definitely pre 1950 front sheetmetal
Beautiful wagon, but still for sale. At this price, it will be for a long time.
