“HERE I GOT A VERY COOL, VERY RARE ALL ORIGINAL , NOT CUT UP 1963 KAISER MADE JEEP CJ6 SUPER LOW MILES AT 31K.., THESE ARE MORE OR LESS A CJ5 THAT WAS SPECIALLY BUILT WITH A 20 INCH LONGER WHEELBASE FROM DRIVERS SEAT BACK. THEY WERE MOSTLY SOLD TO SWEDEN AND SOUTH AFRICA. NOT MANY IN US AND THEY ONLY MADE 50,000 OR SO TOTAL OVER 20 YEARS PLUS SO IMAGINE HOW MANY ARE LEFT, ESPECIALLY WITH CLEAR TITLE AND RARE TOP AND SNOW PLOW… LITTLE TID BIT FROM OF HISTORY HERE..AND BY THE YEARS IT WAS ONLY AROUND 2,000 UNITS A MODEL YEAR .

The CJ-6 was simply a 20 in (508 mm) longer-wheelbase (101 in, 1955-1971 – 104 in, 1972–1981) CJ-5. Introduced in 1955 as a 1956 model, the CJ-6 was never very popular in the United States. Most CJ6 models were sold to Sweden and South America. The U.S. Forest Service put a number of CJ-6 Jeeps into use. American sales ended in 1975. Just 50,172 had been made when the series went out of production completely in 1981. NOT MANY PEOPLE HAVE SEEN THEM OR HEARD OF THEM. SO IF YOU ARE A JEEP GUY NOWS THE CHANCE TO GET A COOL PIECE OF JEEP HISTORY, IF THIS WAS RESTORED IT WOULD BE WORTH ALOT, WHICH I DO I JUST HAVE WAY TOO MANY PROJECTS…. OR JUST USE FOR PLOWING ETC AND DRIVE AS IS. WE DIDNT HAVE TIME TO UPLOAD VIDEO TONIGHT BUT I WILL TRY TO ADD MONDAY TO GIVE YOU A WALK AROUND AND HEAR RUN BUT I WILL GO INTO DETAILS NOW, as you can see in the 24 pics i provided, i go all out to be as descriptive as possible where most take 4 pics and write 2 sentences as i like to be honest and want you to know what your getting.. mechanical…

the jeep starts right up , has the 2.5 l “iron duke” bulletproof overhead valve engine, runs good but could use a minor tune up , im sure, plugs wires and cap and rotor and oil change which i never do as a sales pitch like some cause i feel new owner should do them selves so they know its done. and it has a exhaust leak at manifold , which i do have new gaskets for that which will go with, just didnt have time to do, i need room. does leak a few drop of oil around and is damp around valve cover gasket, no big deal. the 4 wheel drive works great, has warn lock out hubs on it, 3 speed manual trans with smooth clutch. also has the pto pulleys off the transfer case where they used to run equipment back in the day. exhaust is just straight pipe out to middle, but not too loud. drives down the road pretty nice really. brakes work as good as these old brakes did. someone tried to put chrome shifter knob on that wasnt right thread so that just spins on there and threads are gone now, so it could use a new shifter handle if your fussy there. tires are older retreads with good tread but do have dry cracks here and there, but hold air just fine. body… as you can see it has some holes, some old bondo spots, paint peeling etc, some holes in front floor but tranny tunnel area and around seats all looks good. as well as supports under it, but really overall it is workable if restoration is in mind, but it would take some time. rear floor looks to have been replaced at some point with nice heavy flat metal, looks good, nice roll bar. hood is perfect, real nice heavy as well as cowl area and winshield frame which is usually rotted is very nice with some minor surface rust. front fenders have dings and dents but not rusted too bad. has very rare best top vinyl top and doors on it that is perfect other than drivers door top window has split in it with just some tape across, you could get new one sewed in from upholster for a few bucks then top and doors would be cherry. has neat spare tire holder that swings down on tailgate with spare and cover. frame and suspension….frame is in excellent shape, no real rust at all. again, the heart of any vehicle and its great. again some of the cross members for floor underneath are rough but frame is perfect. put some new suspension parts on and other things i will list below under new parts. controls etc… lights, turn signals, reverse lights on toggle, all work, horn dont. speedo works good, has added on electric wiper kits motors, needs new blades, mia. has original radio in the dash , dont turn on didnt look into. manual choke and throttle control work. has 2 heaters ? gets cold plowing i guess. one looks oem on pass. side and then there is a whole other controller added under dash needs new hose under hood, just like a dryer vent thing, easy cheap fix. also has trailer hitch and electric brake controller and neat old tach which work.. not sure if gas gauge works cause i only keep a gallon or so of this cheap junk gas we have these days in all my toys so it dont go bad.. comes with nice heavy duty heavy gauge steel with rubber deflector on topsnow plow which is electro power up and gravity down. manual angle. all works as it should. you will need a few pins to put on, i couldnt find thats why i didnt picture with it on. this thing will push some serious snow ! plow is 78 inches wide. interior…. overall in nice original shape, not hacked up dash in nice shape has nice heavy cabelas seat covers on front seats and carpet covered floor just laying in there with carpet covered side like benches. overall space inside from front seat to tailgate is 54 inches so a ton more than cj5’s i almost thought of converting to a truck kinda, would be cool and great mountain party vehicle as is ! has simple plow controller. thats about it, now i will list all new parts and a few things i did recently to freshen up.. brand new battery new nice enamel smoke gray paint on wheels undercoated frame new windshield a few years ago and rubber, still looks good new rear brake lines and brakes bled. have new manifold gaskets to go with it for leak. brand new rear shocks, and shackles, u bolts and bushings, it always sat a little crooked, seen wear on these,so i replaced all on rear still has a little lean , fronts may need to done to level out ? thats about i think, dont miss this this rare cool jeep to just have fun with, plow or restore.. you will have one of the only ones around, i just cant keep em all ! i have a 47 cj2a and many other projects. im selling with very fair low reserve with what i have in it and a little soup money, check out on nada guides..what these things can be with for yourself in ex. restored shape and you will see im not kidding…you have to look under 1962 though cause they dont even show a 63 ? it was weird time when kaiser owned jeep and they kept changing hands.. plus they are so rare nada may just have years missing. please read all details below and follow details and happy bidding. if you have zero feedback please contact me before bidding as i have had problems in the past…. thanks CLEAR PA. TITLE IN MY NAME READY TO TRANSFER.”
