    Certainly not a conventional cooling system, looks all wrong. Both in and out on the top.

    Dave, in response to Boomer’s question, those are “aluminum slot rims”, right? I remember my 48 CJ2A from Globe had them. I traded them to a 4×4 place in Clarksdale AZ. I think their name was All Auto, if that helps.

    Boomer, somehow I missed that comment. They are commonly called cast aluminum slot wheels.

    I read that Kelsey Hayes made some factory original slots for AMC, but they are hard to find. Most of the ones you’ll encounter are likely aftermarket rims made by Ansen, American Racing, or other manufacturers.
