    Just called this seller. YES, This started life as a DJ3A (Good EYE Dave) and had a United States Navy tag on the dash. He’s looking for the original number for our Production / Survivor List. He’s modified this to a 4WD and many other changes mixing in some CJ3B parts he had during 35 year ownership. Very interesting Guy.

    I think the original last 5 digits of the serial number will be on the Navy tag. They didn’t use the Willys model number 56337 or 8201, on the Nomenclature tag, but did use the 5 production numbers as the vehicle serial number. It may have gotten titled that way in California. It will be interesting to see what comes out of it.
