UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3900.

(07/26/2014) Needs brake maintenance.

I’m selling my 1947 Willy’s Jeep that is dressed up like an Army Jeep. This thing looks cool! I bought it from a guy last fall with the intention of using it for advertising, but I have to many cars again. The previous owner said that he pulled everything apart and rebuilt the engine, tranny, t-case, axles, and the body, then put her all back together and painted her army green. I added the stars and US markings just to dress it up a little. It needs the brakes serviced and bled, some seat covers, and a windshield. Personally, I would sell the M38 windshield frame and buy an old split windshield frame instead, but you can decide what you would like to do. As always, I am interested in trades. I love guns and military stuff, but am open to anything. I like old sports cars and muscle cars too.”

This military replica is just in time to remember Pearl Harbor Day, today. I did my part by bringing home a ’44 Willys MB engine yesterday.

Never Forget! 73 years ago today, my father-in-law was passed out on shore after a Saturday night of heavy drinking with is Navy buddies. He woke up to chaos. If he didn’t have shore leave, he might have been one of those who died on the ship. So, who said drinking was bad. (lol)

In my youth, I met many Pearl Harbor survivors. They are now gone, and I will always remember them as they were in civilian life. And after studying history more closely, I can appreciate what
they went through. I hope every young person remembers so history doesn’t repeat itself.

I searched the internet today. The casualty list includes the dead, wounded, the ships and the planes lost. I wonder how many Jeeps were destroyed? Why don’t they mention the important part. (lol)

Fortunately for us, many are still around for us to enjoy.
