(10/30/2014) Seller believes this is all original, but the M-38 body suggests otherwise.

“1947 Willy”s Jeep universal ready to restore. It is all original except the four cylinder engine. It has a rebuilt pinto four cylinder engine. For the person that is looking for a rock climber, this one can be set up just for that purpose. It has the original transmission, transfer case, front and rear axles. It has fog lights, and a tow bar, with lock out hubs. It has been stored for the last seven years. Please no texting,”

    Agreed on the shovel holder, but how ’bout the battery box on the cowl? Never seen that on a 2A.

    It’s an M-38 tub…. large fuel filler opening, removable instrument panel, oval hole on the dash for the military light switch, emergency brake location on the left side of the dash etc, etc.
