“For sale is a 1965 Willys Jeep CJ5 with approximately 28k original miles on it. I picked this up in Pennsylvania a few years ago with the intent of fixing it up and using it to plow snow on my private road. I don’t have time or room for it anymore so it must go. It was originally purchased new in Pa with a dealer installed plow, hard top and radio and was only used to plow a private road. The elderly gentleman I bought it off of was the 3rd owner and used it to plow his driveway.

It’s been sitting for many years and has lots of rust underneath it and the rear frame cross member is rusted away. I was going to use scrap metal to repair it but replacements are available for about $100.00 and can be welded or bolted on. Please see pics for the other rusted out areas on the body. It has the Willys F134 engine and it does run but has a miss. I can hear a valve tappet that needs to be adjusted which may be causing it but it definitely needs a complete tuneup and all fluids changed.

I was told the gas tank isn’t any good on it so I hooked up an auxiliary tank. Later, I looked inside the tank and it looks ok so you may be able to use it. It can be driven but needs a new master cylinder so there’s no brakes. The plow pump works but isn’t strong enough to lift the plow so it will need new seals installed in it. This CJ5 does need some work but would make a nice utility or hunting vehicle on your property. Please call or email me if you want more pictures or if you want to stop by and take a look at it. Thanks !
Update : I had it running the other day and I believe the miss is actually caused by an ignition problem, either a bad spark plug wire, distributor cap or a bad plug.
