Here’s an odd one. It’s was supposed to have been a movie prop. Seller has been trying to verify it was in a movie, but hasn’t been able to locate it yet.

has title, it is registered as a 1962 vw, has not been on the road since 1972, untill now, its been mechanically restored. we drive it all over the neighborhood and off road
all it needs now is a airsoft machine gun replica and a mount, maybe some seat cushions to sit on
has an old canvas top, its dark gray canvas, the wagon used to be german gray, just recently painted afrika korps colours
i dont see any reason why you couldnt fly in and drive home, but if you want to tow it, it will come with a vw tow bar and tow lights

I once owned two restored Volkswagen type 82 Kubelwagens model 1943 & December 1944. This six wheel military vehicle looks nothing similar to a WW II 1940-1945 VW type 82 Kubelwagen. It looks like it was a fantasy WW II German inspired military designed, by a comic book artist, who have never seen an actual WW II 1940s Kubelwagen & looks not a bit like the replica Kubelwagen crafted for the Indiana Jones movie “The Last Crusade” or any replica, original Kubelwagen
Mystery solved, concerning this comic book style/fantasy German military vehicle. The person or persons who designed/crafted this German military vehicle did not take the time, to research actual WW II German soft skinned military vehicles. That being said, I recently saw this very same vehicle, on a National Geographic WW II documentary “Hitler’s Last Stand” . The episode, in which this vehicle appears was aired on Monday evening 2 July, on the National Geographic channel, at 10 pm (NGEO in tv guide listings). I am not certain if this fantasy, comic book style replica German military vehicle, was crafted for the National Geographic WW II series “Hitler’s Last Stand” or was built for another WW II series, WW II movie, WW II, etc. documentary then borrowed/rented for use in the National Geographic WW II series “Hitler’s Last Stand”. In this series the color is the same beige/tan, but has black & white German crosses, not Afrika Korp palm trees on two front doors, John Lenza

Dave; Having actually seen, your replica German military vehicle, in an excellent National Geographic episode, I do now like it a lot MORE NOW!!!!. I once, almost bought, the replica Mercedes Benz Command Car, with replica prop German MG 34s, etc. that was designed & built for the 1st Indiana Jones movie “Raiders of the Lost Ark”. The replica German Mercedes Benz Command Car, was for sale in New Jersey. I was, at that time living in upstate New York. I could had bought the replica Mercedes Command Car then drove it home. This same replica Mercedes Command Car & The replica Mercedes truck both custom crafted for “Raiders of the Lost Ark” both, also appear in a comedy spy movie “Top Secret”. The replica Mercedes truck is on display at Disney Land. The WW I tank use in “The Last Crusade” is on display at Disney World. I have NO idea, what became of the replica German Command Car, I could had, should had bought ($4,500.00) back in the mid 1980s, John
