And is the front ax bracket/loop in the right place? I thought those holes went on a diagonal just off the step. At least I hope I’m right… I’m putting that on my own 42 GPW now.
The bracket is off the right location easy to fix

You are correct the ax bracket bottom leg goes through the tab on the step where its welded to the tub and then it slants slighty so the top leg hole clears the tub gusset on the inside. I’ve seen a lot of these brackets in the wrong spot…but if you position the bottom leg centered on the step tab you can’t go wrong. Just watch for that tub gusset before you mark and drill the top hole.

No crash pads by the front seats or holes for them in the body. No entry way door snap holes or snaps.Post war blackout light on drivers fender bracket. Whats with the metal box between the front seats? IMHO not a 18,ooo jeep.For that much should be a complete restoration.
Looks like a repro body to me. I agree that is seems a bit over priced for what it is. I’d hope at least the engine is GPW, otherwise the value should be even less.
Does this jeep have blinkers?
Only if you move your eyelids up and down very fast.

This 42 is too authentic to have turn signals, or even a right rear running light, from what I can see.
