Nice truck, but look closely at the paint job, “Orange Peel”. Not being critical, just making a point. Second time around on eBay.

This was previously auctioned on ebay. Interesting bid history. It began at $12k, sat there for 2 days, and then shot up to $12,500. The first bidder came back shortly afterwards, and the price went to $12,600, which was the final selling price 3 days later. No neutral or negative feedback left by either party after the deal fell apart, which is bothersome for future potential buyers. We don’t know whether the buyer flaked, the buyer didn’t like the condition, whether it was a shill bid by a friend of the seller, etc…

I think $7k is all the money for this truck. One has only to look at the tailgate picture to see how well the “restoration” was done.

Craig, You make an interesting point, There is a lot that goes un-explained on ebay. Over the years, I’ve seen numerous vehicles listed as sold only to reappear again a few weeks later listed by the same seller. I hate to say this, but some bidders just think this is a game like gambling, the I want “The winning bid”, almost an addiction. The trouble is ebay ads to the problem by charging the seller the listing fee as soon as the listing ends. If a so called buyer doesn’t come through with the bucks, it takes at least 2 weeks for ebay to credit your account. Ebay also requires conformation from the bidder before they refund your money. Hence the reluctance to leave any kind of feedback. My own experience selling a car on ebay was less than satisfactory. The guy wanted me to drive the car and meet him at a rest stop on the NJ Turnpike, said he pay me then & there. I wasn’t going to go for that deal.

M point is this; Ebay is not a reliable source to sell your vehicle or to gauge market prices.
