Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** WAs $1500.
It runs, but needs some work.
“1948 Jeep CJ2A. Very original including original flathead 4 cylinder engine. Lot of money spent on new parts. Needs reassembled. Easy project vehicle. Runs, but not driveable due to steering gear not reinstalled. New seat frames, gas tank and sending unit, rebuilt brakes front and rear, new Wilwood dual piston master cylinder, rebuilt steering gear, new front end parts. Selling for less than the cost of the new parts. $1500.00”
