“Looking to sell my 1947 CJ2A, it’s been restored at some point and they did a nice job, body is straight and clean, rust free, it runs great, I’m sure it was rebuilt at some point, has a couple little oil leaks, not bad just marks its territory, kinda like a O’l Harley, tranny slips out of second when you take your foot of the gas, I have a deluxe rebuild kit for it, all lights work, paint is great and stops good, speedo and fuel gauge not working but all gauges are new just haven’t traced the problem out, won’t go but 55 so haven’t worried bout it, it has a 3A windshield on it I’m pretty sure, I put new leaf springs all way round it, it’s a good driver and ready to go, sure I left a lot out so come see it and take a spin, for way less than the price of a Polaris ranger and you can drive to church in it”

OMG, Chris: you could catch or push a small herd of armadillos with THAT 😉

Not a bad-looking jeep otherwise, but that thing would have to come off!

Current CL ad only shows that unique “bomber style bench seat”, as he calls it, saying it’s very comfortable. Unfortunately it appears the marketplace is speaking… and they either don’t like the beefy buffalo pusher bumper, or the bench seat. Because other than those 2 oddities, this jeep appears worth every penny of $6K… just my opinion.
