Love the truck. Im a little confused about the current fad of adding surf boards to all things Willys. I could understand on the old woodie looking wagons, but a dually work truck?

Lew, I think it is just a way to be prepared in case you get stuck in water? You can always paddle away!

    Paul, maybe that’s a feature?

  3. Alaska Paul

Dave, I think you’re correct about the pop rivets being a feature of this vehicle but I think it’s one feature potential buyers aren’t supposed to notice.

  4. Joe in Mesa

Craigslist ad isn’t currently showing any pics… just the map of general location. Seems like a curious strategy.

  5. Glenn

    Pictures are back on CL.

Thing is for CL, they only support a limited number of photos (4 I think) the additional ones need to be linked from some other host.

    Update to this one.
I bought it and I asked about the pop rivets and the guy who restored it. He said it was like that when he picked up the jeep he had thought it was factory so he left it. I am assuming the original owner might have done it.

Thanks for the update. Looks like a fun combo! Will you be bringing it the FC Roundup?

  8. John woods

The seller said he had extra parts that went with truck. Looking for parts for mine. I live in CT if you are local

  9. Powers2440

John he didn’t mention any spare parts from my recollection unless it was a earlier revision. It might have been a miscommunication as the person who posted the ad was not the owner but a friend of the owner.

Also David I would like to. Might be a little while as I don’t have my own tow rig yet and live on the east coast.

Yes, that’s a long drive for sure. I think Jesse mentioned at this point he’s only planning on hosting three or four more Roundups.
