still selling m-38 listing on craigslist was expired. what was your phone #? & address. do you have tow bar?

It was a pretty good price. Bit of paperwork and owner wanted it gone so I scored. This is my 3rd Relic Project. My wife bought me a nice amateur restored 47 ‘2A a couple of years back so I could feed my soul on a daily basis driving around town. I have a 49 ‘3A that I purchased from my uncle about 15 yrs. ago. Its been in pieces for quite some time. My uncle purchased it in the early ’50’s. And used it around the family ranch outside Laramie WY until his health became an issue and I bought to carry on the passion he fostered.
I follow the posts daily and one day maybe I can participate an event or two. I live in Boise so if your ever passing through give me an email and maybe we can have coffee and feed the addiction we all share.
All jeeps wish the had flat lines.

Hi Fred. I used to live in Boise, so I know the area. I’ll be through in late March or Early April as part of a trip to Salt Lake City and back. I’ll drop you an email when I now more and see if you’ll be around.
Pete Anderson, who runs the Old Willys Forum, lives near Sun Valley. He and I have talked about doing some kind of joint vintage summer jeep event, but we’ve not finalized anything. I’ll be sure to announce it if we do.
