Looks to be a 2A that might have some MB parts. The seller is under the impression that an MB frame is a stronger frame.

“Starts right up, runs and drives!
I believe it may have been a Bureau of Highways (before caltrans) vehicle, hence it’s vintage Omaha orange color and enlarged marker flashers. It’s pink slip says CJ2a, but I’ve identified that it has a rare MB (side stamped) engine Willys go devil engine and an upgraded heavier duty MB frame too. The engine and frame look stock otherwise and are indistinguishable using the same parts, if you don’t these vehicle history.

Here’s the specs:
– Body is a post war Willys 1948 CJ2A Jeep 4×4
– Engine is a WW2 Willy MB flat head L134 go-devil, drives!
– Frame also appears to be an upgraded MB frame, evident by the additional boxing removed turret mount under the body.
– Converted to 12V with alternator
– Dana 23 and Dana 41 axles
– Dana Spicer Model 18 two stick (stock) transfer case
– Dana T90 top loader three speed transmission
– Strong vintage Selectro hubs!

When I bought it originally, it hadn’t ran in over 30 years! I’ve had restored most of the mechanical parts to get it safely drivable again, here’s a list of parts:

– Brake master cylinder
– All four brake wheel cyclnders
– All rubber brake hose
– All brand new 3/16″ hard double flared brake lines
– Rebuilt original Carter WO carb
– Swapped in a refurbished radiator, new cap and new hoses
– All new ignition from plugs, cables, cap and rotor
– Swapped distributor and adjusted points
– Faux leather boat seats, passenger side folds to expose tool box
– Air filter rubber hoses
– Swapped gas tank for a good used one
– New 12v battery
– New choke cable
– New temp gauge
– Flushed oil in stock air fliter
– Oil change and new fram cartridge filter
– Wired in new ignition switch
– New tow bar!

Drive side seat picture isn’t included, matching passenger and drive after market faux leather looking seats will be included.

I bought this little jeep with the intent to fully restore it but I’ve run out of funds! The last 10% left is mostly cosmetic, and I had considered swapping the body but unless your looking to restore it to perfect looking condition, it’s running and driving now.

Please let me know if you have any questions! I’m open to any reasonable offer, but won’t respond to low ballers. I’m not in a rush to sell!
