“1946 Willys CJ-2A – Has clear Colorado title in my name along with Collectors plates that were just renewed for 5 years

Original “Go-Devil” Flat head F-134 engine, T-90 3 speed transmission, Dana 18 twin stick transfer case and an original Warn Overdrive unit (RARE!)

Converted to 12V system – works great with newer battery – drained and flushed the cooling system recently and replaced the radiator cap.

Early CJ-5 axles so it has the rear offset dana 44 and front dana 27 both with 5.38 gears – drum brakes – replaced some of the hard brake lines recently since a couple were pinched

All suspension is new – springs, shocks, u-bolts, shackles (greaseable), and a rebuilt Saginaw steering box with a new pitman arm – also just serviced all front tie rods and ends.

Brand new reproduction windshield frame with all new seals, glass and hardware

New PRP off road lowback seats in black denim and a bestop rear seat – the rear wheelwells were cut back a bit to move the front seats back so an actual adult can drive this comfortably

New gas tank and fuel line along with lots if small things – steering wheel, knobs, etc.

Brand new 31×10.5R15 BFG mud tires with some retro black steel wheels

It leaks a bit of oil (they all do), but it runs well and starts every time. All the lights (including the switch for the brights on the floor!), turn signals, brake lights, and gauges (except for speedo) work

The body is rough – it was hit at some point in the rear and some questionable body work done, floors patched, dents all over, etc. but as of now its solid and its not rotting any more – I threw a coat of paint on the interior and exterior and got rid of some rust so it wouldn’t get any worse.

I just changed all the diff, transmission, transfer case and engine fluids and serviced the hubs – great little jeep thats a lot of fun to drive – I keep it stored inside and drive it regularly – they stay in such better shape when they are used and dont just sit.

Would be a great candidate for a restoration – probably need a whole new body for that route – OR enjoy it as is – a running driving wonderful piece of machinery”
