“For sale is a WWII US Army Jeep. It is a 1942 Ford GPW. Ford and Willys made the jeep for WWII this is a Ford. This jeep was made on 07-08-1942 and retains it’s original data plates. Jeep runs, drive, and stops. I recently rebuilt all the bakes. Axles and transmission (3spd) are still the original Ford parts, the motor has been replaced with a civilian Willys motor at some point in its life. The body is in decent shape. Grill and hood are not dented. The front bumper has been replaced, but original frame horns have not been messed up.

I have a replacement front bumper. Seats have been recovered. Tires are later military non-directionals, rear tire is brand new and is on a WWII combat rim. The windshield frame is WWII military, and needs the studs replaced. I have a second windshield frame to go with. The rear floor of the jeep needs work. The rear tool box lids are also missing. I have spare parts to fix. The rear of the tub had been cut at one point and a new rear piece was added. Has warn hubs up front so it can be flat towed. Lots of original F marked parts.

I have the axe and shovel to go on the side. Comes with gas can and bucket. I also have some other misc parts that will go with. I have owned this jeep since 2010 and have had a a lot of fun with it, but it is time for it to go to a new home. Clean title. $7500 but will consider offers. Not looking to trade for your pocket lint and paper clips or clapped out cars and motorcycle”

The front frame rails from forward of the radiator grill to the bumper will need replacing. Gussets are missing. Not original.

It’s in the ballpark, price-wise, for that condition …and seller will consider offers.
I clicked the link expecting it might have sold already. A great start (or parade jeep) for someone, IMHO :-).
