1959 Wagon La Mesa, CA **SOLD**

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $29000.

This looks like a well done build. Hard to tell from the outside that this is sitting on a Blazer chassis. My only wish is that the light would have been better for the photos.

“1959 Willys Wagon on a 1995 Chevy S-10 Blazer frame. Powered by a 4.3L Chevy V-6 engine, Edelbrock intake and Carb. 700R4 Automatic transmission, rear wheel drive, Power Steering, Power Disk Brakes, Vintage Air air conditioning, all new tinted glass and rubber seals, interior by Armondo of Santee, Cooker wide whitewalls, all new Chrome and Stainless trim. Titled as a 1959 Willys ….no smog requirements. Selling to make room for my next project…it’s what I do.”

This appears to be a very nicely done resto mod. Just looking at the photos and information provided by the seller, I think the wagon body is actually a 1952 or 53, judging from the tail lights and rear license plate holder. The grille is 50-53 series as is the speedometer cluster. The serial number is actually a 1959 version, 54168 is designated as a 1959 6-226 4 Wheel drive station wagon, which had serial numbers going from 39197 to 47362. Judging from the photos included, the seller is a Willys fan showing a beautiful early series Willys pickup as well. No doubt a combination of Willys vehicles were used to put this together, but they did a nice job.

    Hi Jim,

Looks like this ad expired on Craigslist. It’s probably still available, but we’ll need the seller to relist it on Craigslist. If I see it relisted, I’ll send you the link so you can contact the seller.
