This Jeep is actually an Al-Toy, die cast Jeep, not a tin Marx Jeep. Yes the windshield was put on backward and it is missing the steering column and wheel, and the front bumper is broken, but for $20 it is a good price.
That’s an early version of an Al-Toy, with just a drivers seat. They later had two seats.

Somebody painted it yellow-you can still see areas of Harvest tan on it. (I have a one-seater like this in tan with the reddish orange wheels)
With a single seat, it could be a Westcraft jeep also.
I was wondering why he didn’t get back to my request to ship…. I was looking forward to a one-seater.
Doug – how can you tell the difference between a westcract and Al toy? Is there a way?
We believe Al-Toy sold the one seat mold to Westcraft (Western Auto Stores). The only difference I know of is “WESTCRAFT” on the tires instead of “AL-TOY”. I just checked a couple of my Westcraft models and they have a variety of cast numbers 1 thru 4 on the bottom. The front bumper problem has been solved by Colin and the steering wheel will probably show up on a parts Jeep. It may also have been reproduced but we’re having a real problem right now with availability. The man that had lots of repro parts has died and all his inventory is in storage after his shop was closed. I’ve talked with the widow but our needs are not a high priority. Great Buy Dave!! Someone will bail you out.
