“Update 8/24 – compression test all good. Running much better now with the timing set. Carb still needs tuning but can drive down the road now, plenty of power.

Original – 1967 CJ-6. That’s right, 6. I picked this up recently and am contemplating a build but wanted to test the waters to see if it’s worth more to someone else. Has Chevy 305, Holly 600 with a Buick steering column and transmission.

Currently doesn’t run very well so consider it a project vehicle (that may change in the next couple of days when I have some time to monkey with it). Top is in good shape. Front seat floor pans will need replaced at some point as they are rusted. The batteries take a charge. The five (5) matching tires are period specific with lots of rubber. Wiring looks like a headache. Dana 44’s front and rear. Previous owner said rotors were just turned and a new master cylinder was installed. If I do get it running good in the next couple of days you would still probably want to trailer it as this thing is not built for the highway…currently. Clean title in hand.

Cash preferred but might trade for a 92 or later Wrangler that’s not a project. Unreasonable/Low-ball offers will be ignored. If you are unsure of what a CJ-6 is and the rarity that they come along for sale, please google before making an offer. Only 51,000 ever produced and most were shipped overseas. And for this same reason, no, I do not need help selling it. Also, please note where Sheridan is located. Otherwise, thanks for reading and have a great day.”
