There are some minor mods and this may have some bodywork. It looks like the holes for the spare tire mount have been filled.

“What you are looking at (as soon as I get the photos added) is one of the most original, unmolested post WWll  Willys Jeep that you will ever find. Still in most of it’s original factory Emerald Green paint with touch ups to match (lots of patina). This little gem qualifies as a barn find from San Diego, California.

Known history takes us back to the late 60’s in Oklahoma, then Aspen Colorado in the early 70’s and then on to San Diego from 1977 till it was discovered by me, 40 years later. After being trucked up to Seattle in May of 2017, it has sat in my heated garage with my collection of vintage sports cars for the last two years. At 81 years of age, I’ve made the decision to reduce the size of my collection so I am reluctantly offering if for sale. After buying it I had planned on stripping it down to the bare frame and doing a full restoration only to discover that the original paint only required a little work with rubbing compound and polish to bring out the original finish, Knowing that a unrestored original is of much greater value than the restored version,

I just cleaned everything up, replaced the muffler and added new, correct Firestone round shoulder WWll tires and painted the rims to the correct Jeep cream. I refer to it as my “redneck sports car” and it’s been my fun summer driver around Seattle for the last two years. It runs great, but needs one u-joint replaced that has a bit of a knock when coasting, Trannies seem great, engine compartment is complete but needs detailing and could use some of the original wiring replaced (the old cloth is deteriorating in a few spots) Missing its canvas top which is hardly needed as now driven (including the windshield flopped down over the hood) for the “bugs in your teeth” driving experience.”
