Body has some rust and at least one floor patch. I haven’t seen the front loop of a roll cage attach to a dash with just one bolt on each side like this one.

“1962 Willys Jeep CJ5 Dept. of Agriculture Forest Service Brush Truck 6. I do not have documented proof that this was an original fire Jeep but if it wasn’t someone went thru a lot of trouble to make it one. Starts, runs, stops and drives well. Prior to my ownership it appears to have been re-wired and a new generator was installed.

I have done work on the suspension to tighten up the steering and also completed a tune up. Everything on the truck works except for the gas gauge, emergency brake and CB radio. Most importantly the siren and bubble light work. You’ll feel like a kid again playing with the siren. Tires are in great shape but I recently had to put a plug in one of them. Firefighting equipment includes an axe, portable hand pump extinguisher, 50 gallon water tank with electric pump and fire hose, handheld extinguisher and flashlight.

The floors have some rust as can be seen in the pictures. Additional pictures available upon request. The body has a rust bubble under the fuel filler on the drivers side and a crack in the paint on the hood. Seat covers are in good condition.

This is a 57 year old Jeep. It ain’t perfect but it sure is cool.”

This jeep is a joke -a bad joke . Seller says the emergency brake does not work , your asking $10 grand ,fix it . I guarantee it was never a fire jeep someone just stuck a lot of junk on it . The alternator looks like it is mounted to the frame ????
