“1948 Willys Delivery (panel) – manufactured by Willys-Overland in the style of the World War II Jeeps. Underwent a ground-up, street-rod conversion in 2013 by Mariposa Street Rods where no expense was spared. The body was installed onto a 2002 Chevy S-10 pickup chassis, engine, and drivetrain (rear wheel drive). The Chevy 4.3 Liter V-6 has approximately 111K original total miles (80K +/- in original vehicle and 31K + in Willys). Features: air conditioning, electric parking brake, tilting steering wheel, seat/lap belts (2), driver’s side electric seat heater & adjustable lumbar support, leather upholstery, forward folding passenger seat for rear compartment access (original configuration), Alpine 8” touch-screen display in-dash GPS navigation receiver with satellite radio, power amp & sub-woofer (this system will blow the doors off!), back-up camera, manually operated original center front air vent, YOM (year of manufacture) license plate (rear only), front & rear interior dome lights, head light warning buzzer, new tires, Rhino lining coated rear compartment, and original steering wheel, glove boxes (3), ash tray, rear floorboards, window cranks & bumpers. This ride, interior and exterior, is total-fun; the body looks AMAZING from 10’ away; close-up, there are cracks and bubbles consistent with a 72-year-old vehicle – paint and body work needed.

Definitely has the WOW factor – prepare to be noticed and receive a lot of horn toots and thumbs-up! Also, great marketing vehicle for a small business owner!”

    Hi Doug,

I checked Craigslist and saw that the ad expired. It’s likely still for sale, but the seller needs to relist it. I would keep an eye on the east bay craigslist in case it pops up again.
