Bryan’s selling this CJ-6. According to the generally accepted serial number database, this was the last CJ-6 manufactured in 1960. It’s title lists it as a 1961, probably because that’s when it was sold.
SO THIS IS A 3 CYLINDER MODEL ?? — SAYS HE REMOVED THE PISTON ? — I THOUGHT THE JEEP M-6** SERIES WERE THE ONLY 3 CYLINDER JEEPS ? — THEY HAD THAT ROTTIN 3 CYLINDER CERLIST MULTI-FUEL ENGINE THAT WOULD RUN ON MOUTH WASH!!
I remember reading about a guy who broke a piston while jeeping. He claimed to remove the piston and insert a piece of rounded wood to reduce the oil leakage, then drove it out of the woods. I never knew if that was a true story or not.
