“Restored 1967 Jeep CJ5. Great condition. Clean title. Garage stored.
The CJ5 restoration was completed in early 2017 and brought to Nantucket 2021. It has about 600 miles since restoration. The CJ is all original except the tub. Even the color is a factory color. It has a rare 6 cylinder. Most were delivered with the standard 4 cylinder. There is a new top with side windows, but need poles. The following was added: electronic ignition. electric fuel pump and a ahooga horn. Its in mint condition.”

I dont have to look at the serial number or registration to know this is a 1967 — it has the curved stickshift — my 67 cj-6 has it — and most 67’s i have seen have them — nicely done restoration — would be worth more if it had the original body — probably a MD JUAN ? — 1967 is the most desirable year for jeeps — not too old , not too new — just right , especially if you got the 225 v-6 — not a lot of plastic like the 1972 and on american motors era jeeps — honestly , i think my 1967 cj-6 , v-6 is the ultimate jeep — rare and has power and with the extra 20″ wheelbase , its a ranch workhorse , ronald reagan would agree with me — still viable in the year of our lord 2022 ..

I disagree with your comment about AMC Jeeps and plastics…
My ’77 CJ-5 didn’t have much plastic in it.
A dash pad and a small non structural facing around the gauges was it. The dash was metal as were all interior panels.
I might be wrong, but since a friend and I restored it from the ground up, I doubt it!

I don’t think they got plastic dashes until the Chrysler era.

John, I don’t remember much plastic in the 1973 CJ-5 I pulled apart for my fiberglass flattie build either.

by the way, RL = Vernon.
