“The brief rundown is, it is a 1958 FC-170. It has a mid-engine Ford 351 with a C6 automatic. The truck has a ton of really cool features, such as a hydraulic bed and deck cover. Suicide doors, custom fiberglass bed. Jaguar rear end with coilover shocks, independent Mustang 2 front end on airbags. Complete custom interior. It really is a lot of fun, and gets attention everywhere it goes. Needs a little bit of electrical help, and could use a good paint job. It runs and drives. No rust. Located in southern Utah. A radical build, quite nicely done, all out on power train and details, just wondering if there’s any room left in the bed to haul cargo. After all, with that tilt bed, I’d want to use it hauling top soil or crushed stone. Trouble being, with something so pretty as this FC, you don’t want to get it dirty.
I’d say he built it to haul ass, & maybe a sheet or two of plywood. Not any room left in the bed fer a sheetload tho’!
Not surprised it’s still for sale, lovely to look at, but what else can you do with it? Just more “eye candy”.
I think this guy is stuck with his dream build., more of what I stated before.
