Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Andy shared this lengthened CJ-2A. It looks about the same length as the CJ-2Ls. It’s just rare to see one this far east.

“Up for sale is my 1948, CJ2L (cj2a just longer). This was in the same family since the 50s, was on a private ranch. It has 14 inch wheels, and a stretch from the dealership. I purchased this as a back up plan for a couple trips this coming year incase my other jeep didnt get finished. It looks like I’ll finish my other Willys in time so it’s up for sale. I have a clean and clear title, it runs and drives great has a brand new Joe Jennings rebuilt carb on it, needs some brake work (personally I would do the disk brake conversion- about $450)”
