First off, Jeep is in the Nashville TN area. Secondly, sorry for the looong post. Bear with me. I hope this doesn’t come off a “just testing the waters” post, I have wrestled with if I can sell my Willys (notice I said “can” not “if”) . I hate to let it go. Truth is I just don’t have the time to enjoy it anymore. It sits waaay too long between drives and wish list upgrades. I’ve taken it on some mild trail rides, cruises and participated in parades. I didn’t buy this Jeep to park it in a show (it could be) . I love off-roading and it does very well. But it has most definitely not been abused. I’d like to see it go to a fellow enthusiast and Jeep lover.

I’ve had 7 Jeeps and will get another Willys somewhere down the line. I would appreciate it if you held on to your negative comments, I will likely ignore the comment section so if you are really interested you MUST PM me. I repeat, send me a Messenger message on FB Messenger if you want to know more, I can provide a few more pics too. Resto-Mod was done by original owner’s G-son. Worked on in their reputable speed shop in Seattle WA.

This Jeep has hot-rod nods that most Jeepers wouldn’t do but it makes it even more cool, plus the work was done really well. On with the specs:
*1947 CJ-2A (windshield is from an M38 or 3A)
*Original-tub, frame, fenders, grill hood is aftermarket fiberglass-a little ill-fitting but works.
*Frame well re-enforced + customer bumpers
*283 SBC – HEI ign, 2 bbl, in-frame headers, Flowmaster dual exhaust (sounds killer)
*Customer “Northern” alum. Radiator (nearly brand new) *All redone custom wiring *Optima Batt.
*4.27 gears ft/bk *Narrow track, early 70’s CJ D30 frt / D44 rear 11” drums (firewall mounted master cylinder, new brake lines)
*2ish” lift springs, Con-fer shackles(!)
*T-90 refreshed/original tranny
*D-18 refreshed/original Xfer case
*Warn Overdrive-rebuilt by Herm the Overdrive Guy
*Hanging pedal config
*Newish S/W gauges
*Seats-black vinyl, from early 70’s Nova -great condition and comfortable (tilt forward!) Bolted in back seat from a CJ
*Custom welded frt. seat bracket/frame
*Under seat toolbox on passenger side
*Tilt/power steering from early 70’s Nova (integrated blinkers work!)
*Tuffy lockable, center console
*FULL roll cage
*33×12.5×15 Wildcat Mudders on chrome steelies -LOTS of tread left, ride surprisingly nice. It starts, runs and drives well, it is a friggin’ BLAST to drive.

What it needs:
*I have a new steering set up (tie rods, drag link) that I was going to install, it’s time.
*It may need a new oil pump-not diagnosed but pressure seems low after running for a long while then setting at idle.
*has a small leak from oil pan area (also not diagnosed)
*Radiator and mech fan cool well but on super hot days and idling trails, temp creeps up, cools right down when moving again, I have a custom shroud that needs to be installed that will more than likely fix this issues.
*Needs some “detail” cleaning. it’s been sitting awhile. But is ALWAYS covered with an awesome quality “Rain Gear” cover. Warn winch in pictures will NOT be sold with Jeep. Some pics are old, when Jeep was new to me.

Some cosmetic flaws comisurate with time and use are present. That’s it. PM me with inquiries, will ship on buyers dime + PITA fee. Clear Title in hand $10,000 gets it”
