“WWII 1943 Willys Jeep, MB engine with Serial Number MB-250260 which matches the military depot data plate on the frame. It was rebuilt by the military on 10/14/1952 at Esslingen Ordinance Depot. The engine does turn over and is fairly original under the hood. The only thing not original for the era, is the voltage regulator for the generator. It has original gauges, but someone broke out the glass. Engine is mated to T84 transmission. It includes all seat frames front and rear, original fuel tank, 4 combat rims with used NDT and new tubes mounted. Also included is a set of top bows however they are for a M-38 and not an MB. They could be converted by welding. Original windshield frame is pretty rough but this jeep comes with another external windshield frame that could be used.

The jeep has one layer of paint on top of the depot olive drab showing through and may have markings under the paint. Body tub includes bumperette and a modern pintle. Body does have some rust and some damage but it is all repairable. It is missing corner body handles and top bow brackets. A solid original WWII military jeep ready for restoration. I have titled this jeep, so it includes a clean California Title. It has a great patina and could be left as is and just get it running. Jeep does not run. It is a project. Bring a Trailer Asking $6000 OBO Found some new information. Jeep was rebuilt by the military 7845th Ord Depot in Germany in 1952. The rebuild number is 85 stamped into the body. It also has other modifications that are common with other jeeps rebuilt at that depot. Being that this jeep is a 1943, and it was rebuilt in 1952 in Germany, there is a very good chance this is a real ETO WWII jeep that served overseas”
