About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Really cool project pick up truck. Rare vehicle that was the first that was rated to tow more than it’s own weight.
This vehicle is almost complete but needs full restoration. The windshield is missing and there is no bed. Has all the drivetrain componants and the cab has other parts inside. Also comes with manual and additional info.”
Here’s a John Deere themed FC. Seller included a video.
Here is your chance to own a truly unique, rare, and beautifully restored 4-wheel drive pickup, of which only 1600 were built. This ‘John Deere’ colored Willy’s Jeep was totally restored starting with media blasting the body and frame, cutting out the rust and replacing it with new metal, period correct engine, interior, and wiring in the early 2000’s by an individual in York, PA. There is no rust or rot coming through anywhere. The approximate mileage since completion is about 1200. Current owner purchased the pickup in 2004 and has only driven it to local shows and parades.
Mechanically the Willy’s Jeep runs great; all the lights (headlights, turn signals, brake lights, etc) work like new. Speedometer and odometer function normally, but the horn, new fuel gauge, new temp gauge, and new heater motor were never wired. Owner indicates that they will work without an issue. “This is a 1960 Willy’s FC-150 “Little Smokie”. It was owned and used by the Almond Wisconsin Fire Department since new as general assistance vehicle. I am believe to be the 3rd owner.
The truck has a good amount of patina and rust throughout the vehicle. The headlight bezels, emblems are all intact and in good condition. The leather seats are newer and in great condition from previous ownership.
All gauges are clear and fully functional. Power comes from Hurricane 134cid inline 4 cylinder. It starts and drives easily. It has been well maintained with a recent reconditioned carb. It would be a great candidate for a restorations project! “

“Selling a 1957 JEEP FC150. This is a very unique and cool looking truck. This truck spent most of its life in the west as it has very minimal body rust. The underbody is in great condition and is very solid. This FC will runs and drives
For what the truck would need to my knowledge would be a carb rebuild, new gas tank and the glass is cracked. Interior (two seats) need recovering. However its a great project and would look amazing when finished, i just don’t have the time. I’m here to sell”
This runs and drives. Has some rust, but not as bad as many I’ve seen.
“About 15+ years ago I fixed the 1959 FC-150 to use on our property.
I put in a 2000cc Ford overhead cam engine.
Rebuilt the transmission
New brake linings for parking brake on transfer case.
All new steel brake lines & flexible lines; wheel cylinder; master cylinder; brake shoes.
Radiator was recored; switched to 12V, etc.
Wife used it to haul water for garden; take away branch clippings and some firewood.
Has been parked under cover since then.
Runs, drives, stops.
Heater core has developed small leak. Believe intermediate bearing in transfer case is bad.
Has non-original seats.
Does have lower body rust. Pickup bed is pretty solid and straight.
Kids shot up passenger side glass and put a few BB marks on back window.
I have 2 FC doors with glass that will go with it.
Have a New York State transferable registration.”

“1957 Jeep FC150.
– Been in the family for about 30 years
– Rhino lined truck bed and interior about 20 years ago
– New exterior paint about 15 years ago
– Original engine (Hurricane 4 Cylinder), transmission (3 Speed Manual with Overdrive), etc. with some modifications (overdrive and locking hubs added before initial purchase)
– The engine turns over but it won’t completely run on it’s own. I suspect that the fuel pump is the issue but I’m not certain. The engine isn’t seized though. Last started and ran about 3 years ago.
– Comes with a matching trailer.
– I have some original manuals and sales material that I would provide with it.
Please call, text, or email with any questions.”
