“We are selling our original 1951 Willy’s Army Jeep. This jeep has the original Overland Jeep Arctic Top and Doors and gas heater. It is in the same condition as when I bought it 6 years ago. All I have done is replace spark plugs, submergable wires and batteries. I have enjoyed this jeep, have only driven it in a few parades. You can view the jeep on youtube to see it run. I welcome any and all questions, so please ask. I am not a jeep mechanic, and I do not know alot about them. I am just a military enthusiast. Nor have I read all the books. I know enough to enjoy the jeep. So please ask questions.

Makes a great show or parade car or for just driving around town.
The M38 was the military version of the CJ-3a. Please google the model for more information.
No trades, call only if you want to come take a look.”
Might be a 2A with a replacement body. Has 3 data plates, so might have originally been a 1946.

“1952 Willys M38 Serial number 58632 Dated 3/52. This jeep has not been restored. Was used for parades by the previous owner. This is a great jeep for parades or for reenactments. Runs, Drives, and Stops. Engine runs smooth. Has been converted to 12 volts with electric fuel pump. A new master cylinder has been installed, along with new brake lines and hoses. Body is straight. There was rust in the front floors that was patched. Rear floor and hat channels are solid with no rust through. Has beechwood canvas top and seat cushion covers. Headlights, taillights and brake light work. Windshield has a large crack. Since it has an electric fuel pump. Vacuum wiper does not work. This can easily be replaced with an electric wiper motor. The spare tire carrier is not the original. Most of the wiring has been redone. The original cloth covered wire is still there but in bad shape. Lights are not going through the master 3 lever switch. Passenger side step is missing.”
May have some parts value.

(01/21/2016) “This little Willys m38 is is good condition but is still and 60 year old jeep
Runs and drives with all new steering and suspension and a break master cylinder upgrade.”
No pics provided.
“This is a real army issue willys that was in the korean war which means it has a lot of heavy duty upgrades from the civilian model, it’s pretty much all original except the front bench seat but i have the stock buckets too and the front bumper trailer hitch for towing it as well. Just had a brand new carb and fuel pump put on it and the thing runs great and only has 30,000 miles on it! This thing gets lots of attention and is a blast to drive and will climb up anything!
I love this little willys jeep and don’t really want to sell it but current situations demand it.
4,800 obo”
Mark listed this over at warjeeps.com.
“What you are looking at is an original 1951 M38 Jeep. The Jeep has the correct MC engine, but does have a repairable crack above the distributor. A correct RMC engine block will come with it. The body is pretty straight. It has the usual floor rust. Most of the rust through area is in the driver front floor, but just where the flat panels are meaning it would be an easier repair job if you know how. The engine is not locked and spins freely. The Jeep has most of its original paint from the Korean War era and also still has its hood numbers both are pretty unusual to see on a Jeep as old as this. I would prefer this old steel soldier to find a good home to bring it back to life! I don’t usually sell my project Jeeps, but my dually needs 6 new tires.”
No pics provided.
“1952 Willys M38 for sale.
It has the rare original, factory twin stick PTO system.
Doesn’t have and PTO driven accessories on it.
Seats are in very good condition, it’s been converted to 12 volt.
No rust, original tub is in very good condition, runs great, just needs master cylinder.
The Willys was originally a western, dry, no salt vehicle.
I also have spare parts to go with it.
It has all of the original data plates mounted on the dash.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
