Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale is a 1947 Willys Cj2a project jeep, this jeep has been partially restored available in its entirety or willing to part out. The frame has been sandblasted, new rear cross member, bed frame, and rear bumper have been welded in. Frame and axles have been primed and painted. I have a 2.5 inch rancho suspension lift installed, with rancho rs5000 series shocks. The motor (134 ci flat head 4 cyl.) has been rebuilt, bored .040 over, new pistons, valves, rings, bearings, machined crank, decked cylinder head. It has a 3 speed fwd and 1 speed rev. transmission, with transfer case and pto flange. have receipts and paperwork on all work done.”

1982 cj7 project jeep needs transmission and brake work. Has a great 4.2L inline6 that does turn on. Has 38.5×14.50-15 with 95% tread thornbirds tires. Mickey Thompson 15×12 rims. Has 373 gears. Does have rust. Sold as is
Reason for selling is I have other wranglers and projects.

“1948 willys.. 350 small block Chevy turbo 350 tranny 35″ Mickey thompsons on polished rims.. Jeep was just painted viper green ( 12,000.00 doars) Evey nut and bolt is stainless all new seats and harness’s motor freshened up and all chrome replaced.. 4000 dollars worth of fox shocks. Etc….. “The body on this Jeep is very solid it does need a new head gasket the head is loose on the engine. The original color is Normandy blue, but it is currently black in color. It is missing the seats. I am NOT interested in any trades of any sort.I can’t get any good pictures of the vehicles as its in a dark section of the barn.”

“1947 Willy’s less engine, was set up for a small block Chevy .Was set up for hill climbing many years ago.Complete less engine,has transmission and transfer case..Needs a complete restoration.Has CLEAN Title. Also included is the car trailer it is on.Trailer needs new decking and tires but in pretty good shape and that also has a Clean title.Have spare hood,2 extra grilles.Floor tub in decent shape,Dana rear axle.Don’t know a lot about it.other then it has been parked for about 20+ years.Complete roller. “I have a what was sold to me as a 1947 Willy’s, I am taking some parts off and will have this left. Has Spring Over , 3-4 ” lift springs. Body is badly rusted so really no good at all. Frame was painted when built up and appears OK ans are the springs and front/rear ends. Has plates but owner lost the paper Title so it maybe gotten one way or another. So what you see is what you will get, NO ENGINE-NO TRANNY- Has Saginaw non power steering conversion also. Email first then I can call or text back. Thanks”
