“1946 Jeep CJ-2A in restorable condition. It is what you would expect an unrestored 68 year old jeep to be. But it could be the ultimate jeep if you are jeep lover looking for a project. I bought it a couple of months ago and just don’t have the time for this project. The CJ-2A was the first jeep sold to the public, and 46 was the second year it was made. At some point the motor was swapped to the Hurricane straight 4 cylinder. It has a hood scoop to accommodate the taller head. It is not running and I don’t know any history on it. (11/17/2014) Has some updates.

“This ‘ol girl has a Buick 231ci V6 swap with a TH350 with shift kit behind it mating, via AdvanceAdapters hardware, to the stock Dana 18 transfer case. Both motor and tranny are freshly rebuilt with less than 500 miles on either. It has not been a daily driver. Paint is about 2 years old, needs some touch up. There’s tinkering to be done here and there but she’s a real good ‘ol Jeep. Tires are brand new 35/12.5/15 Goodyear MTR Kevlar with zero wear.”
