“46 cj2A Willys jeep. Bought years ago as a project but haven’t touched it. Have 2 extra tubs, fenders, hood, tailgate, new gas tank, 2 radiators, and a lot of other parts. Extra factory Willys wheels also. Engine does not run but turns over. Brakes and wheels bearings are not locked up and roll just fine. Has been parked inside a dry trailer every since I have owned it.
I was going to get it running and just drive it as is around my property. Plans change and here it is. $450 takes it. Price is firm”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
It’s go an unusual windshield setup and a meaty rear bumper/carrier.
“1947 Willys for sale, this vehicle can climb a tree, needs a little TLC, it has the Hurricane engine, and Dana axles. With a little bit of work it would be great for hunting thats what my grandpa used it for and he passed it along to me. I still have the Original lead radiator and it is the 6 volt generator electrical system. I don’t have time to restore the thing so give me a call and we can work out a deal.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000
If the tailgate is indicative of the rest of the jeeps, it make by rough.
“This is a 1946 Willys for sale. My elderly father put bad gas in it two years ago, and it has not run since. Interested give me a call and lets talk.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500
(08/09/2014) This jeep is a mix of 2A and 1957 CJ-5 or 3B parts. More parts in a trailer. There seems to be some value here.

The wheels have optional s. s. trim rings.
The lockout hubs are first generation Kelly hubs.

The jeep is mechanically sound and drives very well down the road.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8500.
It’s a nice looking flattie and it’s serial number is early, but the lack of VEC details reduces the importance of its early roots.
“This is one of the first 1,000 civilian Jeeps made in 1945. Serial number is 10984, making it the 984th or 983rd Jeep made, depending on which source you read. (Some articles state the serial number began at 10,000 and others state it began with 10,001.”
UPDATE: Still Available
(09/11/2014) Needs some work.
“I’m selling my Willys CJ-2A because I can’t afford multiple projects right now. It’s a great little rig, but needs a little TLC. Motor is an early 70’s ford V6, currently runs but has a flat spot in the throttle. I’m guessing it’s a vacuum leak somewhere. brand new carb installed recently. As well as a new battery. Price is negotiable. Trades welcome. Looking for a boat or a reliable pick up.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500
Was part a May estate sale. It didn’t sell, so it’s up for sale again.
“We have a Jeep for sale at our Estate Sale this week end,
We jump started the jeep and it runs, but battery will not hold a charge. Needs a new battery
Perfect Jeep that will take a little to get it road ready, Great investment and lots of fun when done.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4795.
It’s got some hat channel issues, but runs and drives. No title.
“WILLYS CJ2A MILITARY CLONE. 1940-52 MODEL NO VIN OR SERIAL NUMBER SO I CANT SAY YEAR FOR SURE. RUNS AND DRIVES SOLD AS IS WHERE IS. BILL OF SALE NO TITLE NO TRADES CASH IN HAND ONLY. “
Looks like some value here.
“I have the remnants of a Willys Jeep CJ2A that was equipped with the Monroe 3point hitch. The Monroe 3point hitch was a popular item post-war and was used to make surplus military Jeeps like the MB and GPW more usable for farmers. Hitches were also marketed to CJ2A ad CJ3B users.
Obviously there isn’t a lot left here. That’s why it’s cheap. The upper leg mount has been torched off and the Jeep’s been in the elements for a long time.
I have a skid steer so we can easily load this on your trailer.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
Seller notes this is all original except for the seats. As you can see, the body, the bumpers and windshield are incorrect.
“47 Willy’s jeep daily driver current tags always registered never non opd. Clean title been In family for 30 years as grandpas hunting jeep. Before that it was in our nebors barn for at least 10 years I know of, so it has not been left in weather for 40 + years. (Except for deer season of course) turn key ready for cruise nite or hunting. All 5 tires in excellent shape no wether cracks. It was converted to 12 volt prior to us. Except for bucket seats its all ooriginal.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
It’s a project.
“We purchased as a project 3 years ago and haven’t made any progress. Ran when parked, haven’t started in 2 years. New clutch, needs brake work. We’d rather someone else restore it than see it waste away. “
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000
May be some value here. I’m sure the frame is solid, but ‘beautiful’??
“Ran good when parked. Body is pretty solid. Beautiful frame and low miles on drivetrain. Two lever trancsfercase. No time for project so selling.”

“We are selling our 1948 Willys CJ2A. It runs very well and looks great! Every time we take it for a ride we get many waves and “thumbs up”. It was restored about thirteen years ago and won best in show last year at Berlins Drive in the 50’s car show. We just don’t have the time to enjoy it like we used to. This is a GREAT old Jeep! Thanks for looking.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $450
Looks like $450 worth of value to me.
“I have a Willys (1948??) CJ for sale, with no title nor VIN. Was on a farm for decades. Being sold as parts only. Perhaps to support your restoration, trail rig? Hunting truck or gosh knows what! Either way, I want it gone and need the space, hence the super low price. Cash only, not selling it off bit by bit, what you see is what you get. Does not run, needs to be towed.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
(08/27/2014) Appears solid.
“I want this Jeep to go to a person who will appreciate and take care of it.
perfect for hunting, or any casual offroading. Must sell, I wrecked my everyday car.
The price is not set in stone, I know I’ll lose something on this sale, so best offer takes it.
If you are interested call me and we will work something out. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500
Runs and plows.
“1948 willys cj2a with fisher plow. Runs great has electronic ignition. Needs break work. I’ve plowed with it for years. Plows great.”
Listed as a ’45, it looks more like a ’46.
“This is a rare 1945 Willys CJ2-A. The vehicle is in need of a full restoration. Engine turns over and will start just needs to be tuned up.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000
Doesn’t run, but has a shiny bumper.
“1947 Willys Jeep, not running, Title available.”
Might be some value here.
“This Jeep has been sitting in a field for 20+ years. Motor ran when parked, and is not seized. Could be a restoration project or parts for one.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2500.
(03/24/2014) It looks like the side of this melted.
“Re-Post. Titled 1946 Willys CJ2A.
4×4. Motor and transmission work great. Few cancer spots on frame were fixed. Needs a little work. Brake and rear lights wired. Windshield put it ( I have it.) Roll cage installed if wanted. Seats correctly installed. Needs new universal joint for front drive shaft. Done lots of work to it. New suspension in rear installed. Rear leafsprings installed in front. I have brand new leafs for front, just need 2 new brackets. New brakes all the way around. Drivable as is. We ride around the neighborhood all the time. Would be perfect for a farm vehicle, for parades, or around a small town with low speed limits. It is a 60hp 4 cylinder motor. Top speed around 55mph. Amazing low end power. Need to see in person. Very unique.”
