“While driving down a street, we spotted an old dusty willy’s jeep. It belonged to a widow’s husband and was sitting for many years collecting dust near the back of her house. We were told that the jeep was running until he passed and it sat since 2010. It is in good shape for being a 67 year old jeep! It has a 327 with aluminum intake and camel bump heads, automatic transmission, a removable tow bar, a front windshield that smoothly tilts, and locking hubs. There is a rack to hold two Jerry cans. “47 willys CJ-2a. No title, will provide bill of sale, all vin tags intact. Overhead f-134 engine, t-90, dana 18 twin stick transfer case. Was complete until I took off some hoses and generator and starter for another project. I do not know if it would run. Before I took off some parts I did check and it had compression. Motor spins freely, trans and transfer case shift smooth. Has 5:38 gears. Body is very rough, seats are just sitting in the jeep and are not original and torn. 5 matching older tires nylon 10 x 16.5. Front frame horns have usual ugly gusset ing. I would keep and look for another body or for parts but space is limited. $600 firm.”

One jeep is listed as a 1946, but obviously, it’s a M-38. The other two appear to be CJ-2As.
“1946 Willys jeep.The guy I got it from had owned it for 25 years and it had been running.He had replaced the shocks with new monroe and had tuned up and then it has sat since and has been stored out of the weather since I have owned it about 4 years.Also I have 2 parts jeeps both 1948 and they have no titles as they were in the jeeps but were totally unreadable.Also have extra parts as in the pictures. Can store as long as needed if they are paid for.Auction is for the 1946 Jeep and any and all parts wanted. (08/31/2013) It’s a project, but it looks in good shape.
“1948 Willys CJ2A 4×4 Project, Has a chevy 283 bored 0.30 solid lifters, wiend stealth intake, Mallory magnetic breakerless ignition and Mallory super coil, 33″ tires and super single style rims 15×10, keg converted into fuel tank, rancho shocks and lift, 2 sets of seats one set plastic molded and the other is out of an Acura.
This motor ran super, I have since used the carb and battery on other projects, it has a broken rear axle so it will need to be trailered even though it has a tow bar attached to the front, all in all I’ve had it garaged since 1995 when I bought it. This is a good base for off road fun, the motor ran strong and loud with a definite lope, turns head even on the trailer, contact me with any questions more than happy to talk about the mods that have been made.”

(04/26/2013) This includes an overdrive. It’s listed as a ’45, but I don’t see anything to indicate it’s that early. The body is a little rough based on the old pics.

This is a project.
“I am trying to sell my 1946 willys jeep cj2a. I have about 3200$ invested in it and the time has come that I just need to get rid of it. It has a 350/sm465/np205 with full width axles that are Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear. It has a warn xd9000i winch that goes with it the tires are 33×12.50r15 super swamper tsl thornbirds that are about 30-40%. The 350 was just gone trough and cleaned up 2.02 heads with roller rockers were put on it with an edelbrock intake and edelbrock carb the trans shifts really solid and the trans was just cleaned up also. It is a project for sure all the main pieces are there and it will come with a set of 4 Cherokee coils to switch the suspension from leafs to coils front and rear it needs this because the rear axle has been moved back about 8″ to make room for a longer rear driveshaft. It will need a starter, wiring harness, seat belts, links with heim joints, drivelines, and a radiator so it’s only about 1000-1500$ away from being a driver and I am in school and can’t afford this at the time”

“Hello and Thanks for checking out my Willys Jeep. This is a really great little Jeep and it is restored back to completely original condition and it looks great. It was a total nut and bolt rebuild. Everything is numbers matching and put together just as it should be. It wears its original colors of Harvest Tan with Sunset Red wheels. With only 300 miles on it since the resto, it runs and drives so good, and it very reliable as it starts right up every time. It is such a blast to drive – It goes down the road at 50-55 mph and is actually very easy to drive. The engine is great – it just hums and idles so smooth. The only thing that is not original is that is now has an alternator instead of a generator – and everything works as it should including all the headlights, brake light, and gauges. If you have been looking for one of these – This is a really great one at a great price – Im not trying to make any money on it, I would just like it to go to a new owner who will enjoy it, and show it off like I have. If you have any questions about it, just send me a message, and I will be happy to talk to you about it.”

Up for Bid is a 1946 Willys
I purchased this Jeep a few years back from a local farmer that had it sitting in his shop for years and drove it during local parades. Well I purchased it thinking I would like to complete the restore and keep it for a long time. Well as life goes things get in the way and I need to sell it. I did nothing to it except put a new battery in it and started it and drove it from the storage unit to home about once a year. Starts and runs great, Always Stored inside – Black Canvas top looks brand new.

This appears to have a MB/GPW replacement body and a M-38 windshield. For some reason the windshield isn’t pulled tight to the cowl.
