UPDATE: Was $2300. **SOLD**
(02/05/2010) This has got a great sounding drive train. There’s still some work left on this rig.
“I have a 1946 CJ2A that orginally came from CA. It has been on the Rubicon, down to Pismo Beach and many CA jeep runs. It has competed at Weiser in the Sand Drags and Hill Climbs and in the Mud Boggs in the Boise Pavillon, years ago. I purchased this jeep in 1987. Rebuilt the motor in the 90’s. Has only about 100 miles since the rebuilt. This is what the purchase includes: 1946 CJ2A body, all lights and hardware removed and body sand blasted, no rust, small amount of bondo, but body straight, fiberglass hood, winshield intacted no cracks. 1964 Ford 289, rebuilt, Cobra Intake, Cobra Valve Covers, Cobra Oil Pump, bronco air filter, 4 speed, Warn Overdrive, Posi 4:56 gears, dual shocks at each wheel, small lift, but very stiff suspension, custom dash with Stewart Warner gages (5). Bucket Seats, back seat with storage box, roll cage, battery mounted in rear tub, spare tire carrier with CB antenna mount, and spare. Old 11×15 on 15 inch rims Armstrong Tru Tracs, Set of Dick Cepek 14.50x 15 Sand Paddles on 15 inch rims (old). This jeep isn’t perfect:, brakes should be replaced, final sanding and paint, all hardware and lights reinstalled, and the radiator has a small pin hole leak. If you are looking for a jeep to drive in the hills, sand. or rocks this is the jeep. If you are looking for something to drive on the street look at something else.”
