UPDATE: Still Available. Price bumped to $3200.
(06/22/2010) You gotta check out the mods on this jeep. I can’t remember seeing a cable roller installed quite the way this one was done. Check out the front fenders, too.
“Ok here goes… To the best of my knowledge this is a 1944 willys military jeep. Vehicle has no title and is being sold as parts. Gussett no. is 244,0xx. Some one has done extensive modification to this jeep ! get ready ! Its got a f-85 olds six cylinder engine (non running) A PTO SHIFTER AND THE PTO GEAR BOX FROM A CJ JEEP. (Drive line currently to PTO gear box is hooked into axle winch). The pto gear box seems firm but the Pto shifter wont shift with normal pressure, im not going to force it ! possibly will need dismantled and gone threw or may just need cleaned Extra rear axle converted to a winch with lots of cable, the winch cable is to the front of the jeep thru rollers. Electrical plug in socket in rear panel( I beleive this is origional) IT ALL SO HAS A CORVETTE T10 BORG WARNER TRANSMISSION, WAS FOR 1963 IMPALLA 409 SS or corvette 327 APPLICATION ORIGIONALLY ( T10148B T10D-1) the transmissions origional tail shaft is now replaced with the transfer case and PTO to make every thing in sinc. There are a lot of extra parts that go with the Jeep,i wont list but you will see in pics. this jeep also has a tilt steering colum ! I beleive it has a m38 windshield. Ive discribed jeep the best i can, between pics and discription you shoud get a good discription, That said vehicle, or parts come with no warrenty . If jeep doesnt reach reserve, but if i so choose to still sell to higest bidder, the transmission will not be included in sale, but will be included for a additional 600 dollars.”
The hydraulics on this are interesting, including the rear PTO shield.

The rear of this jeep has an unusual PTO mod.
“1956? Jeep CJ3B $2,000 OBO. High hood; Flat fenders; PTO winch w/cables; “F” rebuilt engine; Good compression; No title; No brakes; Smooth running;”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500
(05/19/2010) This looks good and has a PTO, but needs some work.
“PRICE REDUCED $2500 1953 Willy’s CJ3B “High Hood” Consider trade for a enclosed trailer w/ clean appearance, tandem axle w/ side door, 7×14 Fun Jeep to drive and regret that I have to sell it. First year of the 3B! This Jeep is a small project that needs a engine and seats. The 283 is removed(it could be included but in need of repair or replacement to a similar chevrolet engine) It also needs the old seat frames recovered or replaced (through the Kaiser catalog) and a section of exhaust pipe between the rams head exhaust to muffler exchanged(from a muffler shop) The hood, grill and tailgate are repainted. I replaced the shocks and included is a new powdercoated gas tank(It is not installed) It has some original parts such as the stock vacum operated windsheild wiper motor, offset axles, transmission, transfer case and a extremely rare power take off for farming implements on the rear of the Jeep. Also the front tow bar is refabed for a 2″ ball. Handles flat tow very nicely. The soft top is in good shape with the rear section needing to be replaced(likely from a boat shop) Additional parts included are the front and rear entire axle assembly including tie rods, transmission, transfer case, and partially completed half doors. Jeep sits on 28″ wild country radials w/ aluminum rims. With a little bit of work, this could be a whole lotta fun. Great chance for someone to own a rare PTO Willys CJ3B that is a unique conversation peice. Oregon title”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
This includes a rear PTO.
“1947 WILLIS JEEP CJ2A WITH HARDTOP AND PTO.”
It looks in great shape.
“Rare dual stick Koenig PTO. Gone through by Nick Miller. Fits Willys wagon or pickup.”
This has a PTO on the rear.
“1953 Willys CJ3, Great condition, has hard top with windshield, has PTO mounted on rear bumper, guages work, very solid Willys, Serious inquiries only.”
UPDATE; **SOLD** Was $1200.
This runs and has a PTO, but obviously needs some work.
“1962 Jeep CJ5 4 cylinder. This jeep was a project, due to my health issues I am no longer able to work on it, Has a PTO and parts, motor runs, but does smoke it has a new fuel pump and master cylinder, it was an AG jeep, total milage16,374, has clear title, $1,200 OBO.”
This has a front and rear PTO and is supposed to run great according to the post title.
“4cyl. 4speed, PTO winch in front and farm PTO in rear! Very little rust! Just needs fuel tank boiled and tires to be ready for the lease! Jeep is complete less the windshield frame.
Why spend thousands on asian plastic 4wheelers when for a lot less you can have American steel and a piece of history with this Korean era Army Jeep? First $1500 cash takes it!
call (210) 771-8294 selling with Bill of Sale only.”
Leave it to Popular Science Magazine to publish a brief reference about using a Jeep to mix cement. This article (or retro-article) was issued in the Feb 1974 edition.
UPDATE:**SOLD** Was $300
This appears to be a good price.
“I have a Ramsey PTO Winch that came off of a 60’s Willys CJ-5. Its in good shape and all parts are there: winch, control box that bolts to transfer case, fairlead, and the driveshaft. The labels are hard to see in the pictures: The one on the control box says – PT1-J;The one on the winch says – Model # 1200-R (I think), Capacity 8000lb, and the Serial # (hard to make out). Looking to get $300 dollars for it”
I have no idea what a PTO Belt setup is worth. I don’t think I’ve come across one before.
“Excellent Willys Jeep with Rear PTO Belt Drive thing for farm work! Just the Complete PTO setup is worth $2500 So I am tossing the rest in for free!!! As you can see it has been modified over the years. Looks like a willys truck nose, a Vauxall car cab, and a custom metal bed for cord wood. The only jeep stuff that looks original: PTO stuff, Frame, axels, engine, transmission. missing radiator. I don’t want to part it out, that way somebody can mod their jeep with these parts and convert theirs over to a AG Jeep. Engine looks complete with distributor, starter, and carb. I haven’t tried cleaning anything or try to turn anything over (The guy from Pawn Stars told me not to). Call me, don’t email me: ate six zero Fore Two Ate 9099.”
This seller has a few different items for sale.
“Ramsey PT1-J Dual output single stick Power Take Off (PTO) for a Dana Spicer 18 Transfer Case (Xfer Case) connected with the drive lines and u-joints to a Koenig 8000# PTO driven winch with steel cable. Both have been drained the refilled with fresh fluid and all the grease Zerk fittings pumped full of grease.
This is a special order item for some CJ2A jeeps and is very rare to find in such good condition. The winch alone has been listed on Ebay for over a $1000. The PTO goes for over $150 for a rear output without the chain housing.
I also have a couple Dana 18 transfer cases and T-90’s if interested (not pictured) extra of course.
If you have a functioning Warn Overdrive for a Dana 18, I may be interested in trading. Also interested in other trades for equivalent valued items used for defense.”
I am guessing the year of this jeep based on the serial number and the CJ-2A website production serial numbers. This jeep includes a Monroe Lift.
“Nice CJ2A Willys Agri-jeep with a Monroe lift. starts and runs good. Monroe lift has been off of the jeep since the mid 1970s. The previous owner used it to run a bush-hog cut fields. Hydraulic hose are dryrotted and needs replaced. Tires and spare in good condition. comes with air cleaner, hydraulic pump (missing rubber bushing), resivor and control valve, PTO belt drive, PTO V belt pully. The body has rust and is not straight at all. Paint less that fair. leaks oil. It needs restored but i don’t have the time to dedicate to this project.”

This CJ-2A appears well maintained with a very nice, newer Auger. The jeep also sports the rare borg warner overdrive that mounts behind the transfercase output shaft. I doubt any buyer will offer the $9000 starting bid request. Post Hole Digger. Roper?
“I purchased this Willys two years ago and it was what you might call a parade vehicle. Very nice to look at with the wood trim and rust free body. It had been converted to a 12 volt electrical system.”
