UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
(08/08/09) It looks good.
“Ford 302 V8, runs. Like new 33X12.50 Tires and wheels. Three speed with overdrive. Does need some work. I did some work on it last summer and haven’t touched it since. Picture was from last summer right after work was done. Asking 4000 OBO.”
(10/11/09) The jeep appears mostly stock, though there are minor issue. Given it doesn’t run, I suspect the price will drop.
“Original engine, trans, transfer case, with matching numbers. Needs a frame up resto. Doesn’t run. Please email me for more info.. Firm on price.”

“1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A Has straight six in it right now thats knocking real bad, but Have running original four cylinder that goes with this. Also have front and rear axle to go too. Body, frame, all running gear in very good shape. Will be nice little jeep when running again. has collector plates, so no tabs to worry about. ”
The seller needs to sell immediately.
“Have an original 1946 Willy’s Overland Jeep that I must sell ASAP. CJ2A flathead, 4 cylinder, UNRESTORED. 57K miles. In storage. $4800., or best reasonable offers considered. Thanks. Call 978-870-6944”
The price for the jeep looks good. This might be a good price. The trailer is also $2800, which seems a bit high to me.
“Willys jeep and trailer for sale 2,800.00 for jeep and 2,800. for the trailer will sell together for 5,000. runs great good tires. ask for Bill 951-692-2207”
“1946 Willys Jeep. Original paint and top. Engine, transmission, transfer case rebuilt. $3,500 OBO.”
This is a project, but based on the parts list, it sounds like it might be worth the price. The front clip looks like it is fiberglass. I would guess the truck tranny is either a sm420 or sm456. It’s difficult to see whether it would really only take a couple hours to make this run.
“48 cj2a, rebuilt 283, never started. Chevy truck 4 speed, rebuilt x-case, diff’s rebuilt W/11 in drums instead of 9. This jeep just needs finished. The front clip is almost worth what I’m asking. Realistically with a couple of hours you could be runnin. Wife said it’s gotta go. # is 630-6601, Price is negotiable. Thanx fer lookin.”
UPDATE: **SOLD ** Was $1500
This is a project and it is apart. The pics below show what it used to look like.
“Here is my 1948 Willys Jeep that I started as a porject some years ago and just didn’t finish. I put new wheel cylinders, master cyl, shocks, fuel pump, coil, plugs, ans did some body work. It ran very well when I disassmbled it. It needs wiring harness, gas tank and seat frames….almost ready to go for the right person.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2900.
“Hunting season is here! Classic 1948 Willys CJ 2A “Civilian Jeep” Original 4 cyl 134 ci “Go Devil” engine and 3 Speed manual T-90 transmission. The engine, transmission, clutch, 4WD, transfer case, high/low range and lights are all in working condition. The body is extremely solid. The floor pans have been patched. It has the 6 volt electrical system, with an electric fuel pump. It has a little play in the steering and the typical fluid drips and leaks for a CJ2A of this vintage. Although it’s not perfect, it’s in much better shape than a lot of the older Jeeps that are available on the market. Come and take a look – you know you’ve always wanted one! Located in Duluth.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3700.
(08/10/09) The jeep’s hard to see in this pic, but at first glance looks good.
“1948 Willys Jeep with a Chevy 283 V-8 with a Warn overdrive. Everything is 12 Volt and has a heater and comes with two original backseats. Original transmission, axles, and differentials. Extras include a bikini top, front push guard, spare gas tank and tire and the Jerry gas cans. Tires are in great shape and the body and tub has no rust. I really do not want to sell it, but I just do not use it anymore.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2290.
Well, there’s nothing that indicates this is an MB. It looks more like a CJ-2A You gotta love this ‘matching’ trailer. But, the price is good.
“1943 Willys Jeep For Sale!! $2290 w/ the matching “army” green trailer.. 4WD, runs well, new carburetor, new starter, gas tank, new water and fuel pumps.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
It’s got a new winch. The tires look good. It also has a big foot pedal. Do you need any more than that? I’m not sure why it has lights in a 2 pics and not in the other two pics.
“It is primarily for off-road use only. 6-cylinder engine; it runs but smokes. No title. It has a new Warn 8000lb. wench mounted on front. $1500.”

1947 Willys Jeep CJ-2A, Serial # 133971 * flat head 4 cylinder, does not start but engine will turn over * rough shape, for parts, no title * $500 or BO”
The body looks a little rust.
“I have a 1946 Jeep CJ2A that looks like the famous WWII Army Jeep. The Motor, Transmission, Brakes have all been rebuilt. This Jeep runs like a watch. It just needs to be painted with Olive Drab paint and it is ready for Adventure or Hunting Camp. These are getting very difficult to find and are Very Collectable. I would also consider an interesting trade?”
It appears in good shape. It’s not “all” original. That steering wheel looks like a later model wheel of some type.
“1946 CJ-2A fully restored. chevy orange. all original. 4.88 gears. clean title. 4×4. no rust. $7500 obo or possible trades? call me at 443-375-7446 or email me for other questions.”
