“I listed this earlier in the summer, but have gone down significantly in price as I don’t want to see it sit outside through the long winter and I have no garage to store her in. Has a crack in the windshield. Needs new clutch, spark plugs and fresh gas. The frame is solid but rusty. Hard arctic top and doors. No papers. Would make a great project for the garage this winter and have ready to go out mudding in the spring. Serious inquiries only and if you set up a time to come out, please follow through! Located in Sandy Creek. May be able to arrange delivery for half price of local towing company. They want $150 to go to Syracuse, I will charge half whatever they quote for your specific location. The dashboard is unusual.
“1948 Willys Custom Jeep with a Ford 302 V-8 Engine, 4-Speed Manual Transmission and lots of other extras that makes for a perfect hunting/farming/ranching vehicle. This jeep has had a lot of alterations but runs and drives good. The body is straight and the drive train seems to be tight. The engine has limited blow-by but does show some exhaust smoke. Some reconditioning may be needed but it should provide you with a lot of great service.”

“1948 jeep willys. It has a flat head 4 cylinder motor, with a 3-speed manual transmission. It has a power take off in the back of the jeep. The tries on the jeep are 7.00-16lw, they still said military on the tries. The speedometer reads 64525.The winch on the front is a 10,000lbs. This jeep still runs and drives great. we drive it everyday for a hunting jeep. For more questions about it just email me.”

Full cage, nice bucket front seats and a back bench seat w/ rino lined floor.. comes with a full soft top w/doors and a bikini top. Runs great. For sale or trade for a Jeep wrangler perferably trail ready.”

“My jeep has been completly restored from the ground up, the frame was sand blasted and coated. The body is under coated. All the running gear has been rebuilt, the motor was rebuilt completly, it is the original motor that came in the jeep when bought new,I am the second owner. I have installed newer seats front and back, new floor mats,I built a compartment between the seats with a locking top, it has 5 – 15″ wheels with open country tires, there is a swing away stair tire rack on the back. I installed a new top, it has a built in radio and cassette player with 4 speakers. It has been driven around town and in parades.”
The serial number of 154827 suggests this is actually a 1948 not a 1949. There’s been a great deal of work and money spent on this judging from the chrome and clean lines.
” Has a Pennsylvania clear title, not a reconstructed. Vehicle is exceptionally clean, starting with the body: new all steel replica tub, front fenders, hood, grill assembly and 2-piece windshield from original vehicle. Has premium tailgate with Willy’s logo and shell has a glove box. There is no body filler on this vehicle. Paint is acrylic enamel with hardener and gloss additive, wet sanded and buffed. I believe this has a MB Grille and windshield, but the other parts appear to be CJ-2A.
“I have a ’46 Jeep Willys MB. Everything is stock. Its been my project for quite some time. Its 4×4, flathead 4 cylinder manual 3 speed. I have done a lot of engine work. Replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, starter, alternator, regulator, front brakes, water pump, hoses, belts, etc.. It still needs work but the engine turns over and runs. It has a non op and i have the pink in hand. The body is straight but it needs a little bondo and paint. This is a true classic off road vehicle. I’m looking to see what else is out there for trades. The owner is selling it to buy an engagement ring.
“I have a 1946 Willys overland mb jeep. This is the military wrangler. This particular one is the first year of production of these vehicles for the publice while still implementing parts used on the military model. It is appx. 90% original with the updated 12 volt system. Tires that are less than 3 months old. There is no rust any where, and everything works. It is a perfect vehicle for driving on nice summer days, or if you have a place you can take it through the woods, you will never get stuck. It has the famous 4 cyl original Flathead motor that runs great. The suspensions and all other mechanical systems are in great shape. The 4 wheel drive will never let you down. I am only selling it to pay for an engagement ring and hopefully a wedding if everything goes to plan. I am looking to get 4300 out of it. I have spent so much time and money, but now I really need to sell. Email the post if you are interested. I’m not sure what the model is.

We aren’t too sure of what exact year it is but we did find out that it could be in between the years of 41-51 body style. The engine we know was taken out of another jeep a little newer then the body. Its an F-head with the valve cover on top so it was taken out of a jeep from the years 53-63. We found that it’s very common for people to switch out the engines from that year because it’s better performance. The jeep has very little rust and all of it is surface rust that we can find. It doesn’t have a transmission unfortunately or i would be driving it. i have a magazine that sells parts for jeeps and we found a transmission for it and it would only cost about 1500 dollars which isn’t bad for this old of a jeep. I would fix it up myself but i don’t have money and i really need a vehicle. Right now it’s an open title.”
