This has been a project of mine and has had a long list of upgrades listed below. It is not a full restoration, but more a get running well and slow down the deterioration type of job. The jeep starts every time even after sitting for over a month. Everything on it works except the speedometer which is missing in the pics. I am willing to entertain any offers or trades with the exception of boats or bikes, This Jeep is perfect for the ranch / deer lease / hunting, and I am not in a rush to sell. There may be value in parts.  The serial number is 48814, which would actually make it a 1959 CJ-3B.

The seller incorrectly listed this as a CJ-3A.  It does not run.

This has a military tank, but I suspect it isn’t original.

“No paperwork so sold as parts vehicle. Mod. CJ3-B S/N 453GB2 2381X. Not running comes with extra F head motor has drive train. Fella I got it from said it had been a ranch/hunting jeep that had been bought from an air force base in California. It does look like air force blue under the civilian paint. Sold as is and must be picked up. You are welcome to come look at it. Located in Tehachapi, CA.”

“This is a 1953 cj3b. Its has a rebuilt 134f head , the original motor. Its has the t18 3 speed tranny and the duel stick transfer case. has warn hubs, an 8000 puond warn winch, the tires are bfg mud terrians with about 80% on them. This is a great jeep to go hunting,a project, or just to cruise around.It runs great”

Well, it’s advertised as a ’48, but clearly isn’t.  It could be a ’58 though.  Also, it has a CJ-2A windshield.

“I have for sale a 1948 Willys Jeep. This Jeep was rebuilt in 2006 as a two wheel drive, it has a very strong 350 small block V8 mated to a turbo 350 automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission work great. The interior is fully coated in spray on bed liner and the exterior is finished in the smoothest red paint that i have seen. This Willys is the high hood variant making it somewhat rare. The only flaw is that the fuel gauge does not work, i haven’t attempted to fix it as it has a small tank and i just look inside for the fuel level. This Jeep is a real hot rod, very nice and very fast, it is perfect for a weekend cruise, parades and gets a lot of attention at local car shows. I am asking $6500 for it as i believe the body alone is worth that, however I will consider reasonable offers”
