Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This is one of the stranger CJ-5s I've ever seen. While the cage won't be sold with the jeep, it's not exactly a good advertisement for the kind of custom cage they are offering to make. You gotta see all the pics to really appreciate this one.

The body on this looks straight. I doubt there's been many changes to it. This might be a nice restoration project.

The price will likely drop for this project, but the pictures suggest the seller is right: This looks to be a good base for a project jeep.

This is a nice looking CJ-5 at a reasonable price.

This is an unusual CJ-5 package.
"You are bidding on a 1967 Jeep-A-Trench. This trencher is a bit unusual because it has a factory V/6 engine and 4 speed transmission. This Jeep is very complete and unmolested. It does however require a complete restoration. The engine turns over but I have never heard it run. The body has typical rust in the floors and tool box and there are dents and dings."

Are you kidding me? $14,000 for a cj5 that needs suspension work? Add to that it's a pink jeep with "Angel's Toy" on the back and you're looking at a jeep that has a pretty small buyer demographic.

It was painted aproximately 10 years ago,but has been garaged until two months ago, it's never seen mud, but would be a fun toy to have. It has a stainless steel custom dash."
This jeep was for sale earlier this winter but wasn't completely together. Note that it does seem oddly tilted forward, so I'd check out the reasons for that.

Tom, from Forks, Washington, has a new CJ-5 project he's purchased. He had a question about the location of the vin plate on the body. He thought it should be on the passenger side firewall, but that's where the battery holder is located. Anyone know where the vin plate is on a 50s CJ-5?
