About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“A very good example of a classic Jeep CJ6. Truck was fully restored and then not used for some time. Paint is excellent throughout with a few minor scratches. Front bench seat and a rear bench seat that is not fastened down. New tires and shocks. Truck starts, runs and stops as it should.”
“This rare CJ6 has 32,000 original miles. The body is straight and the underside is very clean and original; not all sprayed down with undercoating. No patches or rust repair. Frame is clean. Jeep is from down south. Original F has 134 4cyl motor. Runs and starts great. 4 x 4 works smooth. Brakes are good goes down the road nice. Everything works. This CJ6 has the rear long range option. Two gas tanks one on each side. Koenig hard top and doors are nice shape and straight. Hard to find for CJ6!”
“Up for sale is a non running 1957 cj5.
Have 2 motors with parts. It did run awhile ago my great grandpa bought it for deer hunting. It was a military surplus jeep. It was sitting in a barn for 15 years and the motor got stuck. Tore that motor apart and it needs to be rebuildt. Bought another motor which welded a bearing so that motor needs work to. I have both of the heads which were gone through by an engine rebuilder and are good to go. Also have a rebuilt starter and a new gasket set as well as new spark plugs. I also have a plow with mounts, a tow bar, and other various parts. I also have the title 4000 or best offer.”
(04/15/2018) Jon’s selling his CJ-6. You can see more pics here on Photobucket or on Craigslist. Video below taken during remaining body assembly and before valve adjustment. You can contact him at jonvo@paadgroupllc.net.
Have had this jeep for many years, just recently finished mechanical restoration. Need to sell as too many vehicles & projects. This is apparently a rare Jeep, was not aware until recently. Special Tux
Park parts are included except:
Missing chrome license light, special license mounting is included
Missing special hubcaps or wheel covers.
Missing rear bumper, front bumper included but bent. Front bumper currently is welded on, the Tux park bumper is separate. Could be front or rear I think.
Rear fender covers are in very bad shape, likewise original upholstery. This Jeep apparently had red upholstery which is included, but very poor. The black front seats & upholstery included is period correct however.
All the other Tux park stuff is there, some of the chrome is in poor shape. The hood emblems are included but not installed.
The factory column shifter was replaced by a floor shift.
I have the column shift and it has been rebuilt along with the matching steering box. I will include these at the asking price only.
“1964 CJ 6. Willys Jeep – $10,000. (Wife says I have over $30000 in it.) I have had it 30 years. Great condition. Garage kept. Chevrolet 400 small block with 400 Turbo hydro auto. Cash or cashier’s check only. No scams. Don’t waste my time.”
“Lucy is a beautifully restored 1961 Willy’s CJ6 – Complete body off. Motor, Trans, 4wd and pretty ,much everything has been rebuilt. Brakes have been updated to front discs with a dual reservoir master cylinder. All work was done by professional mechanics, body shop, etc. Completely rewire, new glass, brand new period tire. Rims are armor plated for chip resistance. 280 miles since restoration.”
Craig shared this one. If the Kelly half cab is rust free, this could be a good price.

“Stripped down to the bare frame and rebuilt back up, this rare CJ6 is a real sight to behold! This 1973 CJ6 had a complete restoration done to it which included a rebuilt 304 cubic inch engine that sounds healthy and makes enough power for any road or trail you intend to take it on. The restoration was done over a couple years time and was completed in 2004. Since it was completed there have only been just over 750 easy miles put on it! The exterior has a beautiful blue paint job laid on top of the freshly done body work and the chassis, bumpers, and corners have all been coated with a protecting layer of undercoating which is durable and pairs well with the rest of the exterior.
The interior was completely reupholstered an all weather material that will not break down if it get wet or dirty, and had a bumping stereo put in it that you can hear with clarity even at cruising speed. Setting the whole look off, this truck has a set of American Racing wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires that will give you maximum grip when you need it the most.
This is a unique vehicle that is in almost mint condition. No top. Buyer pays all shipping”
