“up for sale is this 1960 jeep forward control [ fc 170 ] this is a true Arizona truck all its life its been in side here in florida for the last several years cab and box are rust free , actually rot free with minor surface rust . this has a running 283 chevy engine with a standard shift 3speed tranny with a borg warner overdrive yes its 4 wheel drive , has front disc brake conversion on the original dana 44 , the bed has been widen and lengthen to accommodate the homemade camper which is wood framed with fiberglass on the outside , this was built approx. in the early seventies many cool features were built into this truck I added the front 8000 lb pto factory optional bumper and winch , this is still a project but does run and has functioning brakes, please call for more details , to much to list info wise in this add , no trades”
Just the two tailgates alone might have some good value.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.
“Barn find – Vehicle comes with several areas of rust and has not run in several years by all appearances. The bones are there, but it does require a lot of work to get to daily driving again.
This is a project vehicle. It is currently in non running condition and in my opinion will require an upgraded drive train (possibly inline 6 from a newer Jeep) as the current setup does not seem to be in running condition. No transfer box present. Would make an excellent finished project, but will require work.
Vehicle comes with bill of sale, but not title present. Bonded title would be the best option.”
It’s a project.

Blaine shared this video of a restored FC-170 Rescue Van in Germany doing some four-wheeling. It’s all in German. My only wish is that I’d like to see more of the van’s insides.
One is in good shape the other needs a new bed.

“I bought this just over 5 years ago in west Texas. It’s been garaged the entire 5 years it’s been in Michigan. According to the previous owner, it spent most of its life in New Mexico. The body has very little rust, quite a few dents and dings, and the frame is in great shape. It seems to be mostly complete. Comes with a replacement used windshield, back window, and side windows. I’ve never tried to get it running, so consider it needing a complete going through. It has the 3-speed transmission and Selectro hubs. Some tires hold air, some don’t for long. It rolls and the engine rotates. The Jayhawk dump apparatus in the bed is not included, however it is listed separately, see my other posting. The transfer case is also not included. I have a clear Michigan title in my name. VIN# 61568 21173”
Not sure how much value is here.

“HIS IS A UNIQUE JEEP PICKUP BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE A SNUB NOSE. THE FRONT OF THE RIG IS FLAT LIKE IT WAS HIT IN THE FRONT, BUT WAS JUST THE DESIGN. IT WAS ACTUALLY A VERY COOL LOOKING TRUCK. THE UNIT REQUIRED WEIGHTS UNDER THE BED TOWARD THE REAR SO IT WOULD NOT TIP ONTO ITS NOSE. THIS HAS A 4 CYLINDER ENGINE IN IT AS IT IS BASICALLY A HALF TON AND MOST OF THE FC 170 TRUCKS WERE AN INLINE 6 CYLINDER AS THEY WERE DESIGNED AS A 3/4 TON. IT HAD 4WD AND WAS A STICK SHIFT WITH NO SPECIAL AMENITIES LIKE A/C. Continue reading

“Rare 1960 Forward Control Jeep FC150 for sale.
Sat for years until I bought it last summer. I had the stock F4-134 engine rebuilt, and the T90A transmission also rebuilt. Added a steel front bumper. Brakes do not work, electrical not hooked up. Bed intact. No title, will give a bill of sale. Original paint job shows it was used at the Snowshoe Dude and Guest Ranch in Kremmling CO. (Zane Grey wrote ‘The Mysterious Rider’ while staying there).”
This former SEMA FC sold for $159,500 at this year’s Scottsdale auction.

“This 1958 Jeep FC170 was completely hand-built by the Daystar team in Phoenix, AZ. Hundreds of hours went into the building of this Jeep, and it was featured at the 2015 SEMA show. The combination of the all-terrain wheels and tires, and separate Mattracks 88 Series tracks, the vehicle can tackle any terrain on tires or treads. The custom body of the FC170 is protected by a beautiful 3-stage custom Metallic Viper Green paint accented with a pearlescent cream. The Daystar team did an outstanding job on the quality of finish, raw power and off-road prowess. It’s powered by a 5.7-liter 8-cylinder engine backed by an automatic transmission. This Jeep is still in great condition to this day. Both wheels and tires, and Mattracks tracks are included in the sale.”

“Ultra Rare 1960 Willys Jeep FC150 foward control – the shorter one – clear signed notarized Arizona title. From Arizona, was acquired from an estate last on road in 1992. Original drivetrain is complete. Front windshield is cracked in lower passenger side area about 6″ long,,drivers and passenger roll up windows are cracked, the Jeep had a son roof in it and that glass is missing which is why the floor boards and cab corners are rusty, water and leaves got in and sat inside for a long time. Otherwise very complete original vehicle, will need restoration or customization.
Has been in AZ its entire life, see photos for condition, will need metal work on both floor pans, cab corners, and probably to fill in that sun roof opening. Way back in the day it had black shag carpet glued on the dash, doors, and basically all over the inside of the cab, the glue had long since dried out and it all peeled off in pieces, thats why the interior metal looks like it does, mix of dried out glue and black carpet backing. This would all save off easily by hand no sweat. Has decent roller tires and steel wheels, rolls and turns easily. It is what it is, good builder rare Jeep to either restore or turn into a full custom on a modern Jeep chassis or with upgraded drivetrain. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4800.
Some assembly required.
“old willy’s jeep, forward control cap over, 4 wheel drive, 4 cylinder, previous owner tore apart of the engine. Extra parts. Body is in good shape for its age.”
Some parts value here? The tailgate may be salvageable.
