“My father moved and I was left with some vehicles including this really fun jeepster, my grandfather was the 2nd owner in 1969 and it’s been in the family ever since, sad to see it go but I just don’t have the passion/ time and need to find its next owner on its journey! It starts and runs, the brakes and clutch need some work (mechanic friend took a quick peek at it) it’s cover has some wear and would probably need to be replaced , there is one missing panel I have been trying to locate through the move but without luck . One of the windows has trouble going up and down. Just an old but loved car and no one in my family has the time/experience to work on it!
No seatbelts , I see it being a great vehicle for a cabin, small town, ice cream run vehicle. I’d love to find someone that knows these hard to find vehicles and give it the love it deserves !”

“A VERY rare, complete 1967 Jeep “Jeepster” Commando, four wheel drive…even more rare by virtue of the intact factory convertible top, factory continental kit, and 3-speed automatic transmission. It has been speculated that this might be the last living example of this combination of “Jeepster”.
Overall in very good condition–body and chrome bumpers are dent free in excellent condition…all glass, including light lenses are intact…convertible top including rear window are intact…Michelin street tires are in good condition…all Jeep branding medallions are in place including on chrome hubcaps…all interior is in original and very good condition.

“Full Custom 1950 Willys Jeepster. It just doesn’t get more unique or custom than this. Powered by a great running Chevy 350 with throttle body fuel injection spinning a 5-speed manual tranny. Sits on a Mustang II type suspension with disc brakes up front and drums in rear. Has a custom built interior, console, and a dash off a ‘40 Ford fitted with 3rd generation Firebird gauges and tilt steering. The hardtop is removable making it a slick little roadster to enjoy. “It has a Buick 350 swapped into it, which runs surprisingly well. It has never failed to start, even after sitting for years at a time. It runs and drives, but needs steering attention and brakes redone. Body is in overall, decent shape. Top is in rough shape and is only on to protect from the elements. It has an original dash, and dash pad, along with a new steering column. There is no wiring, other than what is necessary to start the vehicle. It will come with a new wiring harness, from “Painless Performance”.”

The Sunkist Lady was an Aeronca 15AC Sedan airplane flown by Dick Riedel and Bill Barris used to set a world-record for endurance flight. They spent a total of 1008 hours and 2 minutes aboard the airplane, ending their flight in April of 1949. Unfortunately for them, their record was broken six months later.
What makes this relevant for jeep fans was that to keep the plan in the air, the crew used Jeepsters borrowed from local dealers to race down the airport runway so the crew could hand fuel and food to the two pilots.

It’s a shame to see this rare Hurst Edition Jeepster Commando. For someone who needs Hurst related parts, this might be an opportunity, but not a whole lot of value here. Based on the serial number of 68632, this is likely a 1970. On this page is a 66357 that has a production date of Feb 1970.

“IN KINGMAN ARIZONA! 1949 Willys Jeep Jeepster Overland. THIS IS PROBABLY THE MOST RUST FREE JEEPSTER AVAILABLE. TWO WHEEL DRIVE. Older amateur restoration of a rare (2900 made in 1949) phaeton body style, and then stored for decades. Runs and drives. Steering and brakes good. Typical 6 volt system with “foot pedal” starter. 3 speed on the tree with overdrive, column shift. Engine OHV 4 cylinder (possibly a Hurricane 4), Gas gauge seems stuck and there is an aftermarket oil pressure gauge added. Top is in good condition and interior redone in a nice tweed (doesn’t get hot in the sun). There are no side curtains. Great around town grocery getter and take it to a show and be the only one!. Miles are unknown (hey, it’s 70 years old). Has assigned Arizona Vin and Clean title in my name.”
