(02/19/2020) This may have some late model Free-Lock hubs. I can’t tell for sure. It’s got a CJ-3A windshields and hood. The fuel inlet is not original. This might have a reproduction tub?

“We did complete “frame off” restoration a few years back and less than 200 miles since,mainly to car shows. Actually won “best in class” at one. Converted to 12 volt but all original other wise. We do still have the 24 volt generator if desired.”
Chas has some nice M-38 parts for sale on eBay, some of which are shown below. So far, all parts start at .99 with no reserve. He’ll be selling additional hard-to-ship parts locally as well, such as a hardtop.

“1951 Willys M38 Jeep. Off frame restoration. Frame media cleaned, primed and painted. Front and rear differentials rebuilt using new bearings and seals. Transmission and transfer case rebuilt also. Work performed by Sumpter County transmission in Leesburg. Engine dismantled, block boiled out and cylinders re sleeved. Engine reassembled using all new parts. Work performed by Dave Latarte Machine Shop, Fruitland Park. Painting done by Johnny’s Hot Rod Leesburg. New wiring harness, brake lines, wheel cylinders and brake shoes. New fuel lines.
Asking $20,000 or will consider trade for a late model Trike or Pularis UTV.”

This has an M-38 body. No description provided. The “WILLYS” branding on the hood is incorrectly placed. I’d have to guess that the hood is also from an M-38.
