1949 titled M38 /CJ2A Titled a CJ2A, but is a 1950- 1952 M38. Original motor, driveline, runs as should, less then 10k miles. No knocks, pings…. Is 12 VDC.
Added: Alum radiator, grill guard, high torque starter, water pump, alternator, and bracket, brakes and brake cyl all 4, aahuga horn, tach, turn signals, tractor seats, 11 gallon fuel cell in back. 265/75R15 digger tires, wiring harness, tow bar, Best Top soft top, ammo can arm rest tool box, seat belts, armor coated inside floor, new floor pans, 1/8″ steel tread plate sides, electric wipers, LED lights, and fire extinguisher. I have new leaf springs and fully tested head, head bolts and gasket kit that goes with it.
This Willys was completely rebuilt by Korean War vet, I bought from family estate in 2014. I do not use it anymore, I have 2 more jeeps and 4×4 truck. Great for hunting, playing in mud, parades, etc. Don’t low ball me I don’t need to sell, just want to find good new home for it.
Give the data plate serial number of 29621, I thought this might be a VEC CJ-2A chassis with an M-38 body. However, note the grille and front crossmember seem set up for a grille mounted radiator, rather than a front member mounted radiator. But, it is definitely CJ (not M-38) chassis. This doesn’t run.

I am currently only looking to trade for a good 4 wheeler or possibly a pickup, classic VW, throw me a offer.Does have a clean title”
This was up for sale back in 2012. Now, it’s being relisted. No description provided.

“Antique former WWII US army truck that I inherited and only used minimally. The previous owner restores some parts and kept in good condition indoors. Currently being stored in a tent. A collector’s item. 4 wheel drive, 3 speed manual transmission. It has a 1980s Buick V6 engine.
Serious inquiries only please..”
Tom shared this M-38 that is supposed to be rust free (though it has some slight surface rust. Still, it’s worth a look.

“For sale is my 1952 Willys M38 (military jeep). The top is a factory “Arctic Top” that was installed when new. The Jeep was originally in the military then was purchased by the forest service and they painted it forest service green. This jeep has almost no rust on it whatsoever! Floors, body, hat channels are all completely solid and rust free. Some stuff was modernized: 12v converted/solid state distributor/standard fuel pump but I have all of the original 24v waterproof distributor/plugs/wires/pump. Lots of new parts, radiator was rebuilt, new fuel tank, seats. All gauges work like they’re supposed to. The Jeep runs and drives great and I drive it regularly. It has a clean Ga title in my name”
Includes some extra parts.

“$3500 or OBO. ready for a restoration project? 24 volt electrical. Korean War vintage Jeep.”
A tree knocked this M-38 loopy. Thanks to Tom for spotting it. The seller is more optimistic about saving the body than I am. But, there looks to be lots of useable parts.

“Late model Willys M38 military jeep. Tree fell and it sat for a few years. Not running. All original except for fuel pump, exhaust and gas tank. Missing forward battery box. 5 original military safety beaded wheels. Dents can be beaten out with hammer and dolly (if I can do it, anyone can). I’ll throw in an extra correct windshield, correct seat frames, hood, tail gate, steering column with box and an extra body if needed. 24 volt. Engine will not turn by fan blades and nut is missing from crank. I’ve not removed the head but I believe block is standard bore. Waterproof bell housing. Cuno oil filter, depot installed rear corner plate. and appears to have all OEM bolts. Rust through on floor pans (small) and passenger step but an easy repair. Bed is in great condition, minor surface rust on fenders, grill, and side panels. Original Willys manufacturer’s data plate. No title. If your looking to restore a M38 with correct original parts, you found it. Not perfect by any means but you’ll have a correct OEM M38 . Additional photos available.”
UPDATE: Still Available.

This was a purpose-modified, possibly M-38, used as part of a geological survey, so it has some unusual mods. There’s probably not much value here, but it would interesting to poke around to check out the mods.
