Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. New canvas top and plastic side windows. New authentic seat covers. No rust on frame or body.
Tool kit. Army repair manual. Additional restoration parts.
The late owner was unable to complete the restoration. However the work is 95%+ complete, and with a few weekends work and the correct unit stencils this classic Jeep is ready to join the 4077th or unit of your choice.”
