This looks like a great price.
“Very good condition, engine runs, transmission and transfer case is tight as a new one. Has new top and seat covers, ignition switch, gas tank with new float, sending unit with filter. Needs new tires, master cylinder and water pump rebuilt, breather rubber hose, vacuum lines from intake to fuel pump”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $16,500
Looks real nice. The seller notes W/O only made 3 Sedan Delivery Wagons in 1951. Actually, they only made 3 4WD Sedan Delivery Wagons (see model 473 SD & VIN 451 CA1). There were other 2WD Wagons made. Since this is converted to 2WD, the novelty of the VIN seems undermined. Cool wagon though.
“16500e a 51 willys sedan delivery they only made 3 in 51 from the vin numbers it has a corvette 283 with and auto tranny 59 corvette frontend and also the rear.
The body is in nice condition its a California car any question please email me

“Historical US Army Jeep and Trailer. Owner asking $15000.00. Please contact for payment options.”
This might have been a civil defense jeep.
“Truck Utility 1/4 Ton 4X4 M38A1 Del – 8/1952 #16453
I drove this jeep, when I got it back home in 1991 down are street and up a hill, 4 wheel drive worked. Later the gas tank started leaking so I parked it in my garage.
I always want a military jeep! I had brought back home a beautiful wall unit with Japanese Soapstone Oriental Carvings on it. I found this jeep in the paper and traded that wall unit. I just have not had the time or money to restore it. I hate to let it go but I could use the money more. I do not want to sell it so only SERIOUS BUYER please.
Thank you”

“For Sale is an antique 1954 Willy’s Jeep. Has not been driven since 1980’s, but has been kept in a barn since then. Engine turns over. Great to restore, I just don’t have the time, too many projects and don’t want to just let it sit around! This was an air force jeep, but was painted red in the 60’s for civilian use. Please message me, serious buyers only! Thanks for looking,”
Daryl’s selling this M-38A1

“Willys Jeep M38A1 with Machine gun (has no moving parts and bullets do not have powder in them. Comes with Wood box with mine detector and testing piece. Also includes Vietnam era helmets and misc other items. Numbers match and has collector plates. Also includes collaspable canvas water bucket on back and all non directions tires so they don’t know if you are coming or going. 24 volt except coil and distributor. But have waterproof distributor and coil along with new water proof plugs and wires which cost around $600 +, Right now it has a 12 volt distributor and coil and power reducer for them. Everything else is 24 volt. Does have light switch but is not hooked up, its on a single pull switch and has a key switch. Has back seat but drivers seat needs pads. Gas tank needs cleaning out. Just had new rings put in it along with new valves all professionally adjusted and carb rebuilt. Engine numbers match jeep. A few spare parts. WILL NOT SELL ANYTHING SEPERATE. And personally pick it up. Only accept cash. great for parades. Might consider trades for classic car or truck non milatary or Kabota with backhoe. No projects”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7000.
This looks solid, but no good side pics of the jeep. Contact the seller for more pictures.
“1954 Jeep M38A, manufactured by Willys Overland. Body GREAT shape! Had fuel pump re-manufactured by Kaiser Willys this spring, and have had her out for a few drives. Cannot tell you how many people stop to talk to us about her! We are currently waiting for 24v coil and distributor, as she is running little rough. Still has most of 24v system, but someone replaced the cool with 12v, just not enough juice. She had belonged to my Dad, but he passed away in 2009 and we are thinking he may have been starting to go to 12v system. We wanted to keep at 24v to stay original.
Asking $7000. willing to entertain other reasonable offers, partial cash and trade, or complete trade. This is in really good shape. we really have debated keeping or selling, but, its just not practical for us right now, and I know there is someone out there who would really like to have this!
Interested in: jet skies/Wrangler/trailer or camper/Decent car or truck or other reasonable offers! Let me know if you have something that you think might spark my interest…but, be realistic!”
UPDATE: Price now $6000. Was no price.
(04/03/2013) Given the tilt grille, this is more likely a 1952 M-38A1.
“I have a 56 m38a1 army jeep made by Willys. All original runs good tag and register in California ready to go. Looking to trade for a land cruiser or Unimog. You can reach me at 916-879-3384”
Loks solid.

Seems like a good price.
“Motor pool restoration. Titled. Runs. 507-685-4418”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3750. These all look like NEKAFs.
If they run, this might be a good price.
“3 – M38A1 “Nekaf” Dutch Army Willys Jeeps. The red and green jeeps are 1956 models, and the white one is a 1960. I have titles for all three. All three are original and haven’t been “civilianized”, as they have their original 24V electrical systems. Most everything is there, they all need repair / rebuild. New tires on the red jeep.”
UPDATE: Was $2900. **Status Unknown**
It runs. I have no idea what these are worth in Hawaii.
“1953 Willys Jeep 4cylinder, Ready to restore, running condition, some rust but not that bad. sorry no a/c with this one, but it has a radio.”

“1952 Willys Overland military jeep
I have a rare 1952 Willys Overland military jeep for sale. We got it from my wifes dad after he passed, He used it a few times to plow his driveway. We have no use for it and maybe someone can use it or better yet restore it. It has 34k miles runs goods, its a 24volt system. Drive train all works as it should. The body is in good shape for its age not all rotted out, some tin he put on the floor & a little rust. He did some body work a long time ago with some bondo which is cracked. It would need to be picked up I cannot deliver. I can send more pictures upon request. Thank you for looking.

Joe forwarded this ad. The body is at a scrappers. If no one wants it, the body will be scrapped. Nice of the scrapper to give folks a chance to snag it. Joe took a look at the body and reported, “It is the body of an M38A1 with Grill, Fenders, transmission crossmember, fuel tank, a roll bar, and 2 military trailer fenders. The body looks straight and solid, with only surface rust. The price seems very fair.”
“I am selling the body of a 1950’s Willys Jeep.
I have the body, roll bar, grill, fenders, tailgate etc. This Jeep is very straight.
480.280.9000”
The bidding starts at $9000. This appears to have the wrong grille for a 1952. However, on the sign on the front bumper it reads 1953. So that might explain why it lacks the grille, because it’s actually a ’53 model.
“Totally rebuilt engine (less than 1500 miles), new tires and tubes, new canvas top and seats. Many more new and spare parts. Body has 33K miles. Engine has less than 1200 miles.”
Someone forwarded this jeep to me, but I can’t find the email now. Nice looking M-38A1.
No pics provided.
“for sale, was in a barn since 1988. solid, good top and tires roll. has a v6 engine turns over. please call 814-720-4611 thanks then can text pictures. $2500 or best offer.”
