“I have a 1943 Willy’s jeep flat fender. This has a chevy conversion, I has a 327. The only reason I am selling this is I don’t have time to work on it. It does come with a tow bar and heavy duty winch on the front. When we picked this up it was a ranch jeep and had carpet in it. We took the seats and carpet out. I was going to redo the center console metal work. I have two sets of seats that will come with the jeep and I am also have the back seat that was in it. I can put this on my trailer and deliver if needed for a fee depending on distance.”

“1943 Willys MB Jeep. Rough shape but can be saved. Transferable registration. I believe the motor was rebuilt but cannot guarantee that so you should consider as needing restoration. Along with the Jeep is a lifetime collection of Jeep parts. Fully assembled motor out of a generator. 6 other blocks including a GPW. Cranks, lights, seats, hoods, jerry cans, electric parts, carbs, unchecked tires, grilles, radiators, new seat covers, intake and exhaust manifolds, wheels, windshields, etc…look closely at the pictures. There may be something special in here. I do not know Jeeps that well. Most stuff appears good. Some stuff is not. First $6200 cash takes it all. Bring strong friends and a big trailer. A few curious things about the body. I suspect this MB body is sitting on a CJ-3A or later frame and drivetrain. Note the boxes in the rear for the shocks have been removed and the front of the frame lacks gussets.

“1941 Willys MB military Jeep. With hard top and doors. Has a Ford straight 6 overhead valve turns over by hand running condition unknown. Manual transmission, twin stick transfer case. Body is in rough condition has sheet metal floor pan and original floor is rusted out. Lots of good restoration parts. The body is probably too far gone to be restored but would make a great rock crawler mud Bogger or Farmtruck. Sorry but due to scams I don’t open email.”
UPDATE: Was for auction on Bring-a-trailer.
https://hartford.craigslist.org/cto/d/1944-willys-mb-jeep-forsale/6571399267.html
“This 1944 Willys MB spent most of its life in Connecticut and is powered by a 2,199cc “Go-Devil” flathead four mated to a 3-speed manual gearbox with a hi/lo range transfer case. A 2011 service included replacement of the seats, shifter hardware, axles, fuel canister, side storage box, and exterior graphics, while the engine oil was changed approximately 500 miles ago along with the front and rear differential fluids. This Willys is offered by the seller on behalf of a family friend and comes with records for replacement parts as well as a Connecticut bill of sale.”

The jeep is more disassembled than the photo below indicates, but it does give a good sense of the parts that come with it.

“This jeep has been in my family since the early 80’s, and has always been kept inside. It runs, drives, and stops. I do not have the vin plate. However I do have the registration in my name for the jeep.
It comes with a set of axles, radiator, gas tank, steering box and column, and many more misc parts.
I have posted plenty of pics, so if you want it, come look at it and make an offer in person.
I will not answer endless emails, nor do I want to hear a story about your jeep. Too many people commit, and then the day of or the day before email with an excuse not to come by. Serious buyers only please.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $16,500.
Not a perfect restoration, looks in good shape.
“Restored approximately 15 years ago and used very little, mostly for parades on major holidays. In great shape and ready to go. Painted in WW2 US Army colors. Will only respond to phone numbers due to scams.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
I thought this looked like an MB, but Dexter saw more GPW in that mount. It also has a plow.
“Although this Jeep looks like a civilian model because of the grille, don’t be fooled. The Jeep is an mb/GPW it has an mb/gpw frame, body, suspension, axles, and steering mechanics. These Jeeps go for up to 25k restored and if you don’t believe me do your research. I’m selling the Jeep because I’m working on 3B project.
The Jeep:
– Runs
– Drives
– hi/lo works
– 2wd/4wd works
– Plow function properly
– Has a heater
– New brake lines
– Needs body work, but solid still
Willing to deliver.”
