This is a very low mileage original 1945 Willys MB Jeep. I purchased this Jeep from the original family in 2005. It was in a heated storage area for the last 35 years. The Jeep was still in the crate when purchased. I am the second owner of this fine piece. This MB still has all original canvas seats cushions, crash pads, door straps, original data plates and the original windshield glass (with dates). The Jeep also has all (5) of its original Goodyear tires with the synthetic S3 markings. This is one of the nicest untouched MB’s ever offered for sale – a rare opportunity to purchase a Christmas present in this condition.”
There may be value here. No title. Unclear if it runs.
“1945 Willy’s Jeep – V6/225 even fire motor with 5:38 gear ratio. Needs to be out of my yard to make room for another project. No title – always used as off road vechicle. Text Sergio (520)360-2925. $1300.00 or best offer.”

“Military Jeep that needs full restoration and is not running or driveable. Non original engine. Has a winch.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5800
(05/29/2012) The seller has been slowly restoring this. Look solid, though it isn’t a perfect restoration which the seller notes.
“1945 Willys MB. Original WWII Jeep. Painted a year and a half ago in the correct shade of OD green. Body is straight and is a real head turner. Original motor is rebuilt with less than 30 miles on it. Runs perfect, starts instantly. 12V conversion. Has wrangler seats. Was converted into a civilian jeep years ago and I have been in the process of putting it all back. Really cool jeep. Tires are 7.50x16s with correct 16″ military wheels. Keep in mind this is NOT a perfect restoration. I never intended it to be, but it is a really cool Jeep.
What I am looking for is a muscle car or hot rod to trade for. When I say muscle car, I mean pre-1972 and a V8. I value the Jeep at around $7500 so let me know what you have.L”
That big winch on the front is not included.
“1944 willys mb jeep, new tires/tubes X 5,complete engine rebuild, new battery, new exhaust ,clutch ,breaks, break lines, this jeep is a complete restoration less paint job, the body has no major rust issues (spent the last 40 years in a barn, and did not move due to engine not working.i restored this jeep with the intentions to one day ger it to a show but due to my lack of free time i have not done anything to this jeep for 2 years .now it is time to sell. this jeep also has a tow bar system so the buyer can flat tow it home .electric winch is not included with the jeep. serial number is MB303570. at end of sale i will give a bill of sale”

There are lots of artichokes grown in the Salinas Valley, hence it would not surprise me if some business called itself “Mr. Artichoke”.

“We are selling an un-restored 1945 Willys MB. It has been stored indoors for the past 8 years and is definately in great condition overall. Jeep is a late World War II production with a mixture of Ford and Willys parts. Jeep is complete without any cutouts or modifications to frame or body. Body is structurally sound and solid. (Found Small Cutout near Fuel Filter-see Photos) Usual but minor rust/rot along gas tank tub of body running from front mud guard to rear wheel well. Also Hat Channel Rot. Basic cut and patch. Bumper gussets are original and intact with minor welds from having attached bar stock for a tow bar. See detailed pix Dash is complete and uncut. Only a civilian on/off key and Lighter have been added. Glove box door with original plate included. All 3 seats are original and included including 3 cushions. Rear cushon is zippered and contains the orignal canvas mud doors. Windshield is not original but a good repro. I removed the original glass and mounted to the new frame and is included T-84 tranny in excellent shape. Ford stamped Pintle hook was original to jeep

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
(06/14/2012) Well, this has an unusual history.
“This Jeep Willys Overland MB 1946 was purchased from an Italian Army Surplus Sale during the sixties, subsequently the car was restored for my late Mother by Carrozzeria Pavesi Rolls Royce and Bentley, Milano, Italy. The restoration was focused on making a glamorous car with all original parts, just the roof and side panels are a work of art…. The dashboard was fitted with a wood panel to increase the good look and the original plates where fitted to the glove compartment box door instead of the engine compartment. The car is fitted with a Webasto gas heather for cold climates. The car was stationed in St. Tropez, France for many years and then was sent to the Swiss Alps in St. Moritz where it stayed until I imported it into the US in 2003. It is a great car, all systems works very good, steering, brakes, engine, etc… it would make a great addition to a Summer/Winter Home, it is great on snow, beats any modern car…. The attention to details in this car is fabulous.”
No pics provided.
“New powder coat paint on frame. Hood, grill, fenders and window frame sandblasted. No motor. Tubs in poor condition. Diferential and drive train in good shape.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
(03/15/2012) Hard to say just how much value is here.
“I DO have a Kansas title to it!!
The running gear and engine seem to be in working order, the engine does turn over freely, and was last running about 10 years ago.
There is a “rebuild tag on the engine dated 12/12/44. The engine and transmission (T84) are both Ford and have the “F” on the bolts. The oil filter is also marked for ARMY use.
It has the two front seats, glove box on the passenger side( one information plate is missing), the fire extinguisher bracket is still intact, and the original foot pedals are there. ALSO, throwing in a ton of extra parts!!
The tub is rough (mainly floor pan rust), but easy to restore, the frame has previous damage the the front horns,
and has been sitting for 45 years. The fenders are in good condition, but them and the hood are homemade (good looking work though).
Things that are missing is the back seat, windshield frame, and rear drive shaft, and some gauges.
If you have more questions feel free to ask”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This has no title and needs work.
“elling this vehicle as parts. There is no title with this vehicle, I chose “salvage” because it was a required field. THE JEEP HAS NO TITLE. It was used for years off road as a plow and not registered or titled . Serial # 360409, 8/10/44. The engine is newer and from a civilian Jeep, the transmission and transfer case are original MB. The engine smokes and will need to be rebuilt if used. The engine ran long enough to determine that it will shift through the gears and not overheat. Steering is OK and the brakes are poor at best. Now for the good part: The body is almost rot free, floors, and tool box bottoms are solid. The body does have bondo and extra holes but overall an excellent candidate for restoration. The front frame horns have had a plow frame welded to them but are in amazing shape and can be brought back with carefull metal removal. 3 combat rims are included. Milage is listed as 99,999 but I have no idea of actual milage. Buyer is responsible for transportation, but we will assist with loading if needed.”
It sure looks like there are some parts worth saving. This was taken in The Republic of Djibouti, Africa, and posted on Flickr. After some searching, I discovered these are probably Hotchkiss (see m201 website).

It has a 2.5 Chevy 4 cylinder in it, it has 4 wheel drive but the front drive shaft is removed, full roll cage, and brand new yokohama tires. (07/21/2012) It’s been sitting for a couple years and doesn’t have the original motor.
“1942 willys flat fender. sitting in my shop for the last 2 years. use to drive it around while i was working on it. just took it to the shop the other day and they got it running agin but still has old gas which makes it run poor and stink. has a ford 4 cylinder in it and a 3 speed tranny. son in law put new brakes and calipers on it 3 years ago wich need to be bled now. needs a home now to someone that can get it restored. it has WA state horseless carriage plates on it so you never have to get taggs for it again.
